The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team is pleased to announce the expansion of its Driver Academy, welcoming DPK Racing karters Ava Lawrence and Roland Nagy to the programme. The team’s latest signings reflect its ongoing commitment to identifying, supporting, and developing the next generation of motorsport talent.

The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team has announced that Formula 2 driver Cian Shields will take to the track at Yas Marina Circuit this week, driving Fernando Alonso’s AMR25 during the Abu Dhabi FP1 session. He will join Aston Martin Aramco Young Driver Jak Crawford, who was announced last month as driving Lance Stroll’s AMR25 in the same session.

The Spaniard, currently competing in the FIA Formula 3 Championship, will benefit from a comprehensive development programme designed to prepare young talent for the top echelons of motorsport.

Held in Sarno, this meeting was an ideal preparation for the next round of the FIA Karting European Championship for OK, which will take place soon on the international circuit located near Naples in Italy. After a lot of fine-tuning work with the Parolin Motorsport team, Jesse Carrasquedo won his place among the finalists, while managing to progressively move up the rankings.

Swiss-born Frenchman Alexandre Bardinon has signed with FA Racing to compete in the FIA Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, where the 18-year-old from Saint-Avit-de-Tardes will be gunning for success.
 

Andrea Rosso is delighted to join FA Racing for the 2021 season. The 17-year-old Italian racer will enter the brand-new Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, featuring cars built by Tatuus and powered by the French manufacturer. The series will race on 10 of the best venues in Europe. 
 

On track categories MINI, OKJ, KZ2, Iame X30 Senior and X30 Junior. Entry lists to open on February 3rd 2020. The “Andrea Margutti” Trophy continues to honour the memory of the young karting promise Andrea Margutti with the 31st edition of the event that started back in 1990. The 2020 event will take place as usual at the South Garda Karting Circuit in Lonato on February 27th – March 1st with the organization by Parma Motorsport. Entry lists to open on February 3rd.

The Emirates Group Karting Club (EGKC) traded one title for another as one of their two teams, Emirates Racing (#8), claimed its first Pro Championship on Saturday (14 December) during the final round of the Dubai Kartdrome Endurance Championship Powered by Motorsport Wheels, while its sister squad, Team Emirates (#9), fell short in a close championship battle with LD Russia (#18) for the 2019 Corporate crown.

Successfully launched in 2018, the Richard Mille Young Talent Academy will offer another chance for Birel ART kart racing drivers from around the world to make their mark in single-seaters this December. The result of a close collaboration between the Richard Mille brand and the Birel ART group, this completely free training and talent detection operation will award the 2019 winner with a full season in the FIA 2020 French F4 Championship.

The 30th edition of the Andrea Margutti Trophy, race scheduled for next April 4th – 7th at South Garda Karting in Lonato, registered a good participation.
