The IAME Series Germany season is entering the final phase. When engines fire up on July 25 and 26 at the 1.3-kilometer Arena E circuit in Mülsen, the third of four scheduled rounds will take place. Talented drivers are heading to Saxony, ready to give their all in the battle for championship points, podium finishes, and crucial positioning ahead of the grand season finale.
Things are shaping up to be particularly exciting in the X30 Mini class. Championship leader Artem Kikireshko (Un1) – who dominated the first two races of the season and leads the standings with 177 points – will not be competing in Mülsen. This opens up a major opportunity for his pursuers to close the gap or even take the lead. Vincent Oliver Rieso (FSR Performance) arrives in second place with 162 points and could leap to the top of the overall standings with a strong weekend performance. Currently fifth-placed Benedikt Wetzel (TB Racing Team / 68 points) will also aim to capitalize on the race and could significantly narrow the gap to the leading group.
The championship battle is intensifying in the X30 Junior category. Semih Bektas (SH Kartsport) leads the standings with 181 points, holding a razor-thin margin over Ceyda-Linet Pirecioglu (KSL Racing Team), who trails by just two points. Consequently, every race, every position, and every point could prove decisive in Mülsen. Further back, Max Wuller (KSL Racing Team / 86 points) and Lenn Göckmann (KSL Racing Team / 85 points) are looking to close the gap to the top two and re-enter the title race.
In the X30 Senior class, the season's leading trio will face off once again. Emilio Bernd (VM Energy Corse Germany) travels to Mülsen as the leader with an impressive 201 points and aims to further solidify his top position. However, Joelina Denzel (TR-Motorsport / 157 points) and Daniel Brozovic (VM Energy Corse Germany / 130 points) will do their utmost to close the gap. With a total of 14 drivers, the Senior class boasts the weekend's largest field of competitors, promising particularly intense and thrilling races.
Another highlight is expected in the KZ2 class of the Shifter Series Germany, where the gripping family duel between brothers Max and Lutz Ohsenbrink (both KSL Racing Team) continues. Max leads the championship with 166 points, while Lutz follows with 153 points, lying in wait for his opportunity. Yet Eric Wess should not be underestimated either; following his strong second-place finish at the season's only race so far in Wackersdorf, he arrives in Mülsen with 95 points and could really heat up the championship battle with another top performance.
The race weekend in Mülsen also marks the penultimate stop of the IAME Series Germany season. Following the halfway point, a crucial stage of the competition is now underway, setting the scene for the grand season finale in Ampfing on September 19 and 20, where the championship titles will be decided. The stage is perfectly set for a spectacular race weekend.
