The opening round of the WSK Final Cup is all set for the closing act that will take place on Sunday, August 30th, with TV Live Streaming coverage.
Following Friday's qualifying sessions and initial qualifying heats, the opening of the WSK Final Cup at the Franciacorta Karting Track entered full swing on Saturday with the conclusion of all heats, where the 300 drivers from 56 nations in this international event battled for the best positions ahead of the final phase on Sunday, August 30th.

A series of very engaging battles immediately brought the Franciacorta weekend to life, both technically and competitively across the MINI, OKNJ, OKN, OKJ, and OK categories. This produced a strong lineup of contenders and candidates for success, but everything will be decided by Sunday, August 30th's Prefinals and Finals, with live TV and streaming coverage.

OK-N – Peruccio keeps the lead.
Pole-sitter Matteo Peruccio (Zanchi Motorsport – KR/TM Kart/Vega) maintained his lead after setting the fastest time in practice. The Italian driver delivered a strong performance across the category's three heats as well, securing one win and two top finishes that allowed him to claim the top spot in the standings. Australian Jenson Eric Burns (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart/Vortex) also performed very well with two wins, though a retirement in the second heat compromised his overall classification result. Matteo Melis (M2 Racing – Parolin/TM Kart), the Frenchman Rayan Carre (Carre – Tony Kart/Vortex), and the Swiss driver Iven Ammann (Innovate – Tony Kart/Iame) were among the top performers too. A bit further back in the provisional standings but ready to make their mark are last year's WSK Final Cup winner, Nicolas Marchesi (Team Driver – KR/Iame), and recent WSK Euro Series winner Andrea Giudice with the Tony Kart Racing Team.
MINI U10 – Burgess is unstoppable.
Zayne Burgess (Parolin Motorsport – Parolin/TM Kart/Vega) immediately bounced back from the qualifying sessions. The American driver, already a winner of the WSK Super Master Series, achieved a clean sweep in the heats with three victories and claimed the top spot. He is followed by Canadian pole-sitter Leo Simone (Parolin Motorsport – Parolin/TM Kart) with two wins and American Zev Godschalk (Kidix – KR/Iame). Among the sons of famous drivers, Johan Berger (BabyRace – Parolin/Iame) performed well, whereas Jack Wolff (Parolin Motorsport – Parolin/TM Kart) fell further back due to a retirement in his third heat.
MINI Gr.3 – El Gahoudi is on top.
The Moroccan driver Nahyl El Gahoudi (BabyRace – Parolin/Iame/Vega) is in front with two wins, capping off a remarkable recovery from qualifying. The Austrian driver Ghazi Almekdad (Team Driver – KR/Iame/Vega) sits in second, also with two victories. Among the top-ranked drivers are also the Bahamian driver Lenox Lockhart (Parolin Motorsport – Parolin/TM Kart), the Dutch Cees Muijs (Sodikart – Sodikart/TM Kart), American Pedro Cueto (BabyRace), and British driver Alfie Richard Mair (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart/Vortex), who also stood out in qualifying. The Indonesian pole-sitter Fadhl Wibowo (BabyRace) ended on the back instead.
OKJ – Sayer claims top spot.
The top spot in the OKJ heats went to the British driver Jarlath Sayer (Ricky Flynn – LN Kart/TM Kart/Vega) thanks to two wins and a second place. Among the best performers were also the Italian Julian Frasnelli (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart/Vortex) and Ukrainian Vsevolod Osadchyi-Suslovskyi (Energy Corse – Energy/Iame), both with a win, along with the French driver Teo Pelfrene (VictoryLane – KR/Iame). OK – Krutogolov takes the lead.
Among the contenders for victory in OK, the Ukrainian Lev Krutogolov (Energy Corse – Energy/Iame)—already a winner of the WSK Super Master Series—moved to the top of the heat standings thanks to a third and two second-place finishes. In the duel between the Canadian Ilie Tristan Crisan (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart/Vortex/LeCont) and Italian Manuel Scognamiglio (Pantano by DAM – Pantano/Iame), who tied in qualifying, things went decidedly better for the Canadian driver, fifth, who finished with two heat wins. Victory in the first heat had gone to the surprising Czech driver Martina Rumlenova (MVM Racing – KR/Iame). Right behind Krutogolov were the Italian Lamberto Ferrari (Monster K Factory – Monster K/TM Kart), Spanish driver Benjamin Manach (Ward Racing – Parolin/TM Kart), and fellow Italian Valerio Viapiana (Tony Kart Racing Team).

OK-N Junior played out over the highest number of heats—a full 10 of them. In the end, two drivers are tied for the temporary leadership: the American Victor Gorun (Tellone Motorsport – Tony Kart/Modena Engines/Vega) and German Henri Moehring (KR Motorsport – KR/Iame), both with three wins. Right behind the leaders is the Italian Luigi D’Ascoli (Modena Kart – Parolin/TM Kart), who has a win to his name in addition to his pole position in practice, followed by the Spanish driver Abraham Schelvis Moron (Drago Corse – New Drago/TM Kart) with two wins late in the day, the Belgian Robert Pulbere (Gulstar Racing – KR/Modena Engines), the French driver Mattis Brageot (AKM Motorsport – Parolin/Modena Engines) and the Polish driver Antoni Ociepa (Novalux – Lenzokart/LKE) with a win, and.
