IAME Euro Series: Hibbert, Miron and Allemann lead qualifying at Wackersdorf

Wackersdorf's Bavarian heat sets the stage as title fights intensify across X30 Mini, Junior and Senior at Round 3.

Thursday's qualifying practice at Prokart Raceland opened the competitive action for Round 3, with all three classes taking to the Wackersdorf circuit in sweltering conditions to set the group standings ahead of Friday's heats.

Mini: Hibbert goes quickest in a tightly packed field

Mayson Hibbert topped X30 Mini qualifying with a 56.342, taking pole by just 0.022 seconds over Leo Devahive Garcia, with Ilyas Sami a further 0.002 back in third. The top six were covered by 0.074 seconds across the session.

Championship leader Chester Forkes lines up eighth, 0.212 off Hibbert's benchmark — leaving some work to do heading into Friday's heats.

Junior: Miron announces his arrival

Daniel Miron topped Group 1 with a 50.322 to set the benchmark across both qualifying groups on his first IAME Euro Series appearance. Ivan Gonzalez, one of two drivers to have won a final this season, led Group 2 with a 50.386 and lines up second in the combined standings.

Championship leader Max Endacott is 17th overall after a 50.737 in Group 1, with 15-point-gap rival Gonzalez significantly further up the order — a dynamic that adds further edge to Friday's heats before a point is scored.

Senior: Allemann leads, Carenini and Garcia follow

Dan Allemann set the pace in X30 Senior qualifying with a 49.249 in Group 1. Danny Carenini slotted in behind in the combined standings, with Aaron Garcia — who topped Group 2 with a 49.370 — rounding out the top three overall.

Javier Broasca, level on points with Garcia entering the weekend, qualifies 13th with a 49.601, 0.352 off his title rival. Dylan Patel was disqualified from Group 1 following a stewards' decision for a driving infringement.

Friday ahead

Qualifying Heats get underway on Friday, with X30 Mini running four qualifying heats and X30 Junior and Senior each running six across groups A, B, C and D. Live coverage begins at 10:15 on the IAME Euro Series YouTube channel.
