The great International karting is back after the summer break, the WSK Final Cup to kick off from Franciacorta

Over 300 drivers are expected at the weekend of August 30th at the Franciacorta Karting Track for the first of the three rounds of the WSK Final Cup.

With the summer break being over, international karting organized by WSK Promotion is ready to kick off from August 26th to 30th with the start of the WSK Final Cup at the Franciacorta Karting Track, marking the first of three rounds that will conclude the 2026 season.

The WSK Final Cup in three events

The WSK Final Cup will consist of three events, accompanying teams and drivers through the end of the season. Action gets underway on the weekend of August 30th at the Franciacorta Karting Track, featuring the MINI, OKNJ, OKN, OKJ, and OK categories. It will continue in November with the addition of KZ2: first on November 22nd at the South Garda Karting circuit, and the following week at the Leopard Circuit Viterbo to award the final titles of the year.

Over 300 drivers expected

The starting grid is impressive once again, with over 300 drivers entered for the Franciacorta event alongside all major manufacturers and international teams for this opening round. As usual, it will spotlight many young talents competing for a spot in the championship's prestigious hall of fame.

Title holders

Last year, the category titles in the WSK Final Cup went to Niccolò Perico (MINI Gr.3 - KR/Iame/Vega), Wynn Godschalk (MINI U10 - KR/Iame/Vega), Bosco Arias (OKJ - LN/TM Kart/Vega), Jindrich Pesl (OK - Tony Kart/Vortex/LeCont), Cristian Bertuca (KZ2 - Birelart/TM Kart/LeCont), Blazej Kostrzewa (OK-NJ - Tony Kart/TM Kart), and Nicolas Marchesi (OK-N - KR/Iame).

A prestigious Hall of Fame.

Over the years, the WSK Final Cup—which was established in 2011 and is set to celebrate its 15th edition—has built a highly prestigious honor roll featuring many established champions, such as Marco Ardigò, Karol Basz, Patrik Hajek, Pedro Hiltbrand, Bas Lammers, Lorenzo Travisanutto, and Senna Van Walstijn. The competition has also served as an important stepping stone for talents who later made it to Formula 1, including Andrea Kimi Antonelli, who is in his second year with the Mercedes-AMG F1 Team, and Arvid Lindblad, who is at the debut in the premier motorsport series with the Racing Bulls F1 Team.
