The 2026 Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy closes out its season this week at the Steel Ring in Trinec, Czech Republic, where 172 verified drivers are set to contest the championship's fourth and final round.
 

Senior MAX remains the largest category of the season, with 73 drivers on the entry list for Trinec.
Jeremy Reuvers (Karting Club Campillos) arrives as points leader on 434, but the margin over the chasing pack is tight enough to keep the title fight open all the way to the Finals.

Junior MAX follows as the second-biggest field, with 39 drivers ready to fight for the championship. Zdenek Babicek (Dan Holland Racing) leads the standings on 463 points, with Rares Pascu (Dan Holland Racing) and Martin Soltys (KRK Racing) still within reach heading into the season's last round.

Mini MAX brings 31 drivers to the Steel Ring, all chasing the Czech Euro Cup title and the Grand Finals ticket that comes with it. With no season-long points battle in the category, the fight is decided purely on the day, adding extra weight to every session of the weekend.

DD2 and DD2 Masters combine for 18 entries. Jakub Bezel (Kraft Motorsport) leads DD2 on 474 points, while Nicolas Picot (Privateer) continues to dominate DD2 Masters on 489. Beyond the titles, both category winners will also secure a test day in the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup with Team Omnia, part of the official prize pool introduced for the 2026 season.

The E20 Senior and E20 Masters categories round out the weekend with 11 drivers, all fighting for the Czech Euro Cup title in the fully electric classes and for a place at the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals.

With every title still open and Grand Finals tickets on the line in every category, Trinec hosts the most decisive weekend of the 2026 Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy season.

The Days Ahead

Wednesday and Thursday were dedicated to Free Practices, giving every team a final chance to fine-tune the setup before the competitive phase begins. Friday brings Free Practices, Non-Qualifying Practices and Qualifying Practices, followed by the opening Eliminatory Heats in the afternoon.

The Heats continue throughout Saturday across all categories, setting the grids for Sunday, when Warm-up gets underway at 8:30 AM ahead of the Prefinals from 10:20 AM and the Finals from 1:45 PM, live on TV and streaming.

On Sunday, September 13, the Prefinals and Finals will be broadcast live on TV and streamed via the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy's Facebook page, RMCET website and YouTube channel.
