The winners of the Finals are: Burns (OKN), Moehring (OKNJ), Miras (MINI U10), El Gahoudi (MINI Gr3), Perico (OKJ), and Krutogolov (OK).
It was a fantastic show of international karting staged at the Franciacorta Karting Track for the first of the three rounds of the WSK Final Cup, featuring once again the very best of world karting—300 drivers from 56 nations, coming not only from Europe but from all continents, competing with major manufacturers and top teams.
The first of the three 2026 WSK Final Cup events saw the MINI, OKNJ, OKN, OKJ, and OK categories take to the track at Franciacorta. In the two remaining concluding rounds at Lonato and Viterbo, they will be joined by KZ2, completing the lineup of international categories and adding to a hall of fame full of established champions dating back to 2011.
The Franciacorta Final Phase
Following the start of the Franciacorta weekend with qualifying sessions and heats that highlighted the event's top contenders, Sunday's final phase—featuring the Prefinals and Finals for each category—showcased the standout performers of this first round.

OK-N – Burns Triumphs.
Winning the OK-N Final, led from start to finish, was the Australian driver Jenson Eric Burns (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart/Vortex/Vega), who won the Prefinal after also standing out in the heats behind pole-sitter Matteo Peruccio (Zanchi Motorsport – KR/TM Kart), who instead had to settle for fifth place in the Final. Joining winner Burns on the podium was the Romanian driver Tudor Jercan (Gulstar Racing – KR/Iame), who recovered several positions, while the Swiss driver Iven Ammann (Innovate Competition – Tony Kart/Iame) finished in third. There was a stellar comeback for last year's WSK Final Cup winner, Nicolas Marchesi (Team Driver – KR/Iame); though unable to reach the podium, the Italian driver secured fourth place after charging up ten positions.

OK-NJ – Moehring wins at the photo-finish.
The German driver Henri Moehring (KR Motorsport – KR/Iame/Vega) won the Final in a photo finish over the Romanian driver Robert Pulbere (Gulstar Racing – KR/Modena Engines), with both putting in a great weekend. Moehring staged a comeback from qualifying to share the top spot in the heats with Victor Gorun (Tellone Motorsport – Tony Kart/Modena Engines), the latter of whom went on to win Prefinal A. In the Final, Moehring took the lead at the halfway mark and went on to win in a sprint finish by a mere 1 millisecond advantage over Pulbere, and 83 milliseconds ahead of the Spanish driver Abraham Schelvis Moron (Drago Corse – New Drago/TM Kart), the winner of Prefinal B. Luigi D’Ascoli (Modena Kart – Parolin/TM Kart), who had claimed pole position in practice, finished in fourth position. Polish driver Antoni Ociepa (Novalux – Lenzokart/LKE) ended fifth.

MINI U10 – Miras Y Munoz on top after a great battle.
The Final race was, as usual, characterized by great battles. The finishing order initially saw the Spanish driver Sasha Miras Y Munoz (BabyRace – Parolin/Iame Vega), winner of Prefinal B, prevail over the American Zayne Burgess (Parolin Motorsport – Parolin/TM Kart), who put on a strong charge back after a race contact. However, after the podium ceremony, a double penalty was handed down to Burgess, dropping the American driver to 19th place. Moving up to second was his teammate, the Canadian Leo Simone, who had claimed pole position in practice, while the other Spanish driver, Oliver Weytjens (Team Driver – KR/Iame), stepped into third place. Jayden Francisco (BabyRace) placed fourth, ahead of his teammates, the Thai driver Max Zvarich and Austrian Johan Berger. Rounding out the top ten was another driver from a racing family, Jack Wolff (Parolin Motorsport). The classification is, however, still "Pending".

MINI Gr.3 – El Gahoudi wins, but the classification is “pending”.
Great battles also characterized MINI Gr.3, where victory in the Final went to the Moroccan driver Nahyl El Gahoudi (BabyRace – Parolin/Iame/Vega), although a technical irregularity was subsequently contested during sporting checks. A competitor filed an appeal, and the classification is to be considered sub judice. El Gahoudi, who had also won Prefinal A, narrowly prevailing over Norwegian driver Theo Steindal (MP Academy Gamoto – Henza/TM Kart) and Dutch driver Cees Muijs (Sodikart – Sodikart/TM Kart). The Italian driver Andrea Buffo (CRG Racing Team – T-Group/Iame) finished fourth in a sprint finish ahead of the Polish driver David Johannes Aagten (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart/Vortex).

OKJ – Perico is the superstar.
Niccolò Perico (KR Motorsport – KR/Iame/Vega) literally dominated the Final. The Italian driver had set the pace in qualifying, but in the heats he placed fifth due to a misunderstanding in one heat, and even in the Prefinal he had to settle for second place after a great duel with the Spanish driver Daniel Miron Lorente (Fusion Motorsport – KR/Iame). In the Final, however, the Italian driver met no resistance and easily cruised to victory with a lead of over 2 seconds over Miron. Securing the final step of the podium was the British driver Jarlath Sayer (Ricky Flynn – LN Kart/TM Kart), the best performer in the heats, who finished third ahead of two Ricky Flynn teammates, the Belgian Henri-Costantin Kumpen and Czech driver Zdenek Babicek. The Brazilian driver Antonio Pizzonia (Ward Racing – Parolin/TM Kart) classified sixth following a two-place penalty.

OK – Krutogolov dominates the Final.
Lev Krutogolov (Energy Corse – Energy/Iame/LeCont), already a winner of the WSK Super Master Series, dominated the Final with a solid advantage over his pursuers. The Ukrainian driver had already strongly distinguished himself by securing the top spot in the heats and a victory in the Prefinal as well. The Canadian driver Ilie Crisan Tristan (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart/Vortex) claimed second position ahead of the Spanish driver Benjamin Manach (Ward Racing – Parolin/TM Kart). Among the other top positions, the Italian Lamberto Ferrari (Monster K Factory – Monster K/TM Kart) finished fourth ahead of the Japanese driver Arata Endo (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart/Vortex). Other standout performers included the Russian driver Ilia Berezkin (GSR Team – LN Kart/TM Kart) in sixth, while the Italian Valerio Viapiana (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart/Vortex) placed seventh.
