After a historic 2025 season, marked by Senna Van Walstijn's double world title in KZ, Maksim Orlov's KZ2 World Cup title, the European Championship titles and the FIA Karting team crowns, the Sodi Racing Team approached the 2026 season with the ambition of maintaining this level of excellence. On the selective La Conca track in Italy, for the kick-off of the WSK Super Master Series, the French manufacturer and its partner CPB Sport returned to competition. This first international event immediately confirmed the competitiveness of Sodi equipment, both in terms of confirming its achievements in KZ2 and in the promising development of the Mini categories.

The Rotax Max Challenge 2025 Grand Final offered the karting world yet another demonstration of mastery and innovation. Hosted in the unique atmosphere of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the event benefited from an exceptional circuit and unparalleled organisation. At the Bahrain International Karting Circuit, a premium setting designed for performance, spectacle and excitement were on the agenda at every session.

For its 25th edition, the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals returns to the Bahrain International Circuit Karting, which it has visited twice in the past. The Kingdom of Bahrain will host the premier global Rotax event from 29th November to 6th December 2025.
 

The 24 Hours Spa Karting is returning! Although the 2025 edition could not take place, organiser One Day Karting has decided to make up for it in 2026 with two events: one with a Sodikart fleet on 13 and 14 June, followed by a second with the traditional Biz Le Mans Twins on 5 and 6 September. Each with their own unique characteristics, these two events complement each other and both promise to be exciting and international.

Following their success in the FIA Karting European Championships and WSK, Sodi chassis have just been crowned Champions of the Future Shifter in both the KZ and KZ2 categories. With one week to go before the World Championship, Senna Van Walstijn made a strong impression in KZ against tough competition on the Italian circuit of Franciacorta, winning the overall series classification ahead of his team-mate Jean Nomblot.

A new category will be added to the SWS from 2026. This is a high-performance racing category designed to meet the evolving needs of the two-stroke driver community. The R-Sprint Cup will begin on 1st January 2026 in the SWS rankings and will have its international Final in 2027.

The FIA Karting European Championship ended on a high note for Sodikart at the Mülsen circuit. In KZ, Mattéo Spirgel dominated the event from pole position to the Final and took the European Championship crown, one year after his European title in KZ2. In this category, the Sodi-TM drivers from CPB Sport monopolised the entire podium, with Maksim Orlov winning ahead of Jayden Thien and Timo Jüngling. Winner of the three Finals in Spain, Italy and Germany, Orlov is logically the new KZ2 European Champion.

Sodikart and CPB Sport perfectly managed the various parameters that challenged the drivers and teams at Sarno during the FIA Karting European Championship for gearbox categories. In particular, they had to adapt to the intense heat of the Naples region and the difficulties of using different tyres to those supplied at the previous event in Valencia. In this context, Maksim Orlov won the KZ2 Final by a wide margin and now has a comfortable lead in the Championship. In KZ, Mattéo Spirgel and Jean Nomblot put two Sodi-TMs on the podium, with performances of a very high standard.

In Valencia, the sensational results obtained at the Champions of the Future Shifter event were confirmed more than ever for Sodikart during the first round of the 2025 FIA Karting European Championship: Three drivers in the top five, two on the podium and victory for Max Orlov in KZ2. CPB Sport and the Sodi / TM machines have already taken the lead in the Team Championship. The drivers entered in KZ also battled at the front throughout the Spanish competition.

At Franciacorta, on the Italian circuit that will host the FIA Karting World Championship in October, the fourth and penultimate round of the WSK Super Master Series featured an incredible field of 90 drivers in a single category, bringing together the best KZ and KZ2 specialists, as well as all the major international teams.

Pole position in the dry, victory in the rain... the Sodi chassis proved competitive in all conditions on the demanding Lonato track. Winner of the Final, Senna Van Walstijn took the lead of the WSK Super Master Series in the KZ2 category. It was also a great overall performance by Sodikart and the CPB Sport team in Italy, with a total of six chassis in the top 12, including four in the top six!

Sodikart, world leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of go-karts, is pleased to announce the appointment of Rémi Niero as Managing Director, with effect from 7th January 2025. This appointment marks a new stage in the strategic development of the company, which is resolutely focused on innovation and the development of its activities in new markets.

On 1 January 2025, Jean-Philippe Guignet took over the reins of the Sodikart Group's competition division. In this strategic position, Jean-Philippe will be responsible for the international management of the company's racing activities. His mission includes the development of competition products across the entire range, from Mini to KZ categories.

As in 2023, the FIA Karting prize-giving ceremony took place in Nice, France, on Saturday 7th December at the Hyatt Regency Palais de la Méditerranée. The karts of the three World Champions were displayed to the guests.

With the last race weekend of the year having just ended with a winning double in KZ2 at Cremona, it's time to look back on a simply fantastic season for the French brand, which is also the world's leading manufacturer of karts.

2024 marked the 25th anniversary of the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals on the prestigious Italian circuit of Sarno. It was also the 15th anniversary of the collaboration between BRP-Rotax and Sodikart for the supply of chassis.

For its 25th year, the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals returns to Italy and the Sarno circuit, which it visited in 2019. From 19th to 26th October 2024, the Circuito Internazionale Napoli will host the Rotax World Grand Finals on a revamped track.

Following their excellent results in the FIA Karting European Championship in the Shifter categories, Sodi chassis continued their haul of success on the Portimao circuit in southern Portugal. Anthony Abbasse, who dominated the KZ2 Masters, won the Champions of the Future Shifter 2024 title.

In Italy, the final of the FIA European Karting Championships in the KZ, KZ2 and KZ2 Masters categories ended with a real plebiscite for Sodi chassis, the official team and the teams representing the French brand. Second in the KZ2 final ahead of team-mate Kasper Schormans, Matteo Spirgel is the new European KZ2 Champion. Senna Van Walstijn, who impressed throughout the weekend at the wheel of his Sodi-TM, finished runner-up in the European KZ Championship. A penalty cost Anthony Abbasse the title, runner-up in the European KZ2 Masters Championship. As for the teams, Sodikart leads the KZ Championship and 3rd in KZ2 Masters, while CPB Sport is leader in KZ2.
