Gunskirchen, Austria – BRP-Rotax announces the official chassis partners for the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals 2025 taking place in the Kingdom of Bahrain from November 29th to December 6th: BirelART, IPK and Sodikart - three of the world’s leading manufacturers in the karting industry. Each brand is well-renowned for their quality, workmanship and commitment to providing nearly 400 qualified competitors at the RMCGF with the best material and support to win.
BirelART
BirelART will supply the chassis’ for the DD2 class fielding a double grid with the RY30RXS18. The Micro MAX and DD2 Masters 36-kart line-up has extra special relations with the Milan factory. The Charles Leclerc Kart introduces CL28S18 to the youngest qualifiers where the current Ferrari driver won his maiden F1 race.
Launching another famous name significant to motorsport, BirelART showcases a second signature brand on the world stage. The Barrichello Kart will feature in DD2 Masters, where Rubens himself will race after qualifying in Florida. By creating two karting lines endorsed by Formula 1 drivers, BirelART aims to connect the prestige of iconic motorsport names with youth and professional karting, believing “Karting is the foundation of motorsport, and it deserves the highest level of commitment, quality and inspiration.” These successful drivers represent different generations; both began in karting. This can motivate young drivers to chase their dreams, like the greatest champions. Leclerc has a young, modern appeal, while Barrichello speaks to nostalgic fans with a technical approach. Both have genuine ties to karting and BirelART, actively involved in the product too.
IPKarting/Praga
The vibrant colours of the turquoise and blue chassis’ are synonymous with the expertise that IPKarting knows is essential to be a winning global brand. They will be supplying the Mini MAX category with the Formula K Monster in FK’s second RMCGF appearance and the Praga Dragon XS3 model in the Junior MAX category.
The team at the Italian-based manufacturer near Verona will once more bring their best engineers and mechanics to provide the best service and support to all drivers fighting for victory in their kart for the number one Rotax title. The passion and vast experience of the combined IPK outfit has partnered this amazing event since 2013 in New Orleans, USA.
Sodikart
Sodikart and Rotax have a solid partnership at the RMCGF that spans over two decades, since the 2-speed RM1 class in 2004. Sodi supported more classes annually from La Conca, Italy 2010. This has enabled the world’s leading manufacturers to promote the quality and precision of their products, whereas top ambitious drivers push the material to the limit.
The Sodi Sigma RS3 2025 will take to the track in Senior MAX with the RS3 30mm frame – a new design increasing performance and allowing for easy set-up. The Sigma RS3 has been developed for the Rotax regulation MOJO tyres as well, where the longer wheelbase and welded column support ensure its effectiveness.
Racing features include modifications to the braking system and steering components, along with a new floor tray. Sodikart’s technical team will be in Bahrain offering professional advice and spare parts service. Sodi Sigma DD2 remains the chassis powering future development with the Rotax E20 electric kart.
