T4 Nations Cup moves to Lonato, Italy

The eighth annual T4 Nations Cup moves to one of karting’s most iconic circuits under a three-year agreement, following five record-setting years in Valencia, Spain

Tillotson Racing today announced that the eighth annual T4 Nations Cup will be held at South Garda Karting in Lonato del Garda, Italy, from 22nd – 26th September 2027. The announcement follows an incredibly successful 2026 edition at Kartódromo Internacional Lucas Guerrero in Valencia, Spain, where nearly 300 drivers representing 35 countries took to the grid for the T4 Series’ coveted global event.

The agreement with South Garda Karting is planned for three years, making Lonato the home of the T4 Nations Cup through 2029. Registration is expected to open in late December, and based on demand in recent years, the event is expected to sell out quickly.

“The T4 Nations Cup has always been about giving drivers from around the world a place to test their skills against the best in the T4 Series, and we are excited to offer them a new destination to do exactly that,” said Charles A. Demirjian, President of Tillotson. “We owe a huge thank you to Lucas Guerrero and the entire team at Kartódromo Internacional Lucas Guerrero for five great years. They helped us build this event into what it is today. We are also grateful to South Garda Karting for collaborating with us to make the next few years something special for our drivers, teams and families.”

Five Years of Growth in Valencia

Since the T4 Nations Cup first arrived at Kartódromo Internacional Lucas Guerrero, the event has grown from just under 100 drivers to nearly 300, becoming the largest four-stroke karting event run under an FIA-sanctioned governing body. Tillotson Racing extends its sincere thanks to Lucas Guerrero and all of the staff at the circuit for their partnership, hospitality and hard work over the past five years.

“From day one, our goal with the T4 Series has been to give drivers an affordable entryway into motorsport, where the result comes down to skill,” said Mark Ffrench, who leads the organization and execution of the T4 Nations Cup and the wider T4 Series alongside Andrew Fallon. “Watching the T4 Nations Cup grow over 3x in five years, and now moving to a venue like Lonato, shows how much growth and success the T4 Series has had in just a few years. That growth belongs to our drivers, dealers and partners, and we can’t wait to start this next chapter with them.”

A New Chapter at Lonato

Located near Lake Garda in northern Italy, the iconic South Garda Karting has been operated by the Corberi family since it opened in 1988. The 1,200-meter circuit is one of the most recognized venues in international karting, having hosted FIA Karting European and World Championship events, and it sits in the heart of the region where many of Italy’s leading kart manufacturers are based.

“We are incredibly proud to welcome the T4 Nations Cup to Lonato,” said Luca Corberi, South Garda Karting and MP Kart Shop. “Lonato has earned its reputation as the center of the karting universe—the venue where all the most prestigious and famous races in the world take place. Bringing the T4 Nations Cup here is the ultimate proof that the T4 category has earned its rightful place among the elite names of global karting. For myself and the entire team at MP Kart, this announcement is the crowning achievement of an immense amount of work. The Tillotson T4 Series is a true game-changer, allowing new drivers to live the dream of real, competitive motorsport on a global scale. This project fills us with energy, and we cannot wait to welcome the global grid to our home, with the clear goal of breaking through the 300-driver mark in 2027.”
