The final stages were full of twists and turns and the winners of the previous meetings were not necessarily able to confirm their success. Dries Van Langendonck in the OK-Junior class and Enzo Tarnvanichkul in the OK class took their first ever podium places. The competition has been completely revitalised and several drivers will be in a position to win this prestigious series at the end of September in Franciacorta.

The hard-fought finals went to Bertuca (KZ2), Egozi (OK), Aksoy (OKJ), Zulfikari (MINI Gr.3), and Venant (MINI Gr.3 U10).

The 11th edition of the WSK Final Cup ended with a total participation of 500 drivers in the two rounds of Sarno and Lonato, the latter awarded today the titles of MINI, OKJ, OK and KZ2.

The victories, at the end of a hard-fought weekend at the International Circuit Napoli of Sarno, went to Panama’s Rousseau (MINI), the Italian  Olivieri (OKJ), the Dutch Van Walstijn (KZ2) and the Chinese Cui (OK). The second and closing round of the series will be on Sunday in Lonato.

The Champions of the WSK Open Cup 2022 are Hanna Hernandez (OKJ), Zulfikari (MINI), Denner (KZ2) and Stolcermanis (OK) at the end of an intense weekend.

Qualifying stages are now over and next up are the finals of the WSK Open Cup in Lonato. The titles up for grabs are those of MINI, OKJ, OK and KZ2. Live TV coverage and Streaming on Sunday, October 2 from 10:50 and from 14:00.

The very sticky track of La Conca was the setting for the second round of the WSK Super Master Series in a demanding meeting for both drivers and machines. Kucharczyk and Bertuca confirmed the competitiveness of Birel ART in OK on this new track, while the young Van Langendonck was at the forefront of the Mini class until the Prefinal. The KZ2s were not racing in the south of Italy, but will return to competition in a fortnight in Sarno.
