On Sunday, April 12th, the circuit of Muro Leccese, Italy, will host Round 1 of the FIA European Championship for the OK and OKJ categories. For the CRG Racing Team, this marks the green light for their international campaign under FIA governance, featuring a four-round European Championship and culminating in a one-off World Championship event in November.

Finals day at La Conca brought a complete shift in conditions, with sunshine and a fully dry track replacing the mixed weather seen earlier in the event. Friday at La Conca saw the completion of an intense qualifying heats programme for the opening round of the Champions of the Future season, with drivers tackling a packed schedule of races across the day. Conditions shifted multiple times throughout the morning, with intermittent rain and a constantly changing track surface forcing teams into difficult decisions.

At La Conca, when it rains, it truly pours. The 183 drivers competing in this weekend’s opening round of the Champions of the Future season experienced exactly that today, as heavy rain created extremely challenging conditions throughout.

In 2026, the series opens at World Circuit La Conca from 1 to 4 March. The 1,250 metre circuit, also known to the paddock as Muro Leccese, sits in the province of Lecce in South Eastern Italy, just a short drive from the Adriatic coast. Known for its stone craftsmanship and deep-rooted history, the surrounding town provides stunning surroundings for a weekend of elite racing with 188 talents.

Parolin Motorsport and its partner teams enjoyed a standout opening round of the WSK Euro Series at Leopard Circuit Viterbo (12–14 February), converting front-running pace into three Final victories. Sasha Miras Y Munoz (Babyrace Driver Academy) took the win in Mini U10, Colton Schniegenberg (Ward Racing) won OK-N Junior, and Qarrar Firhand (Ward Racing) claimed victory in OK, where Ward Racing and Parolin also sealed a 1-2 finish with Benjamin Manach in 2nd.

Parolin delivered another strong weekend in the WSK Super Master Series at Sarno, converting pace into race victories, podium finishes and significant forward progress across multiple categories and teams, despite a weekend shaped by constantly changing weather conditions.
