Gorski and Baglin win dramatic finals at Arena E Mülsen

The first Champions of the Future Euro Series visit to Arena E Mülsen reached its conclusion on Saturday, as a demanding new circuit, ultra-competitive fields and a series of dramatic twists combined to produce two unforgettable Finals. After Qualifying, Qualifying Heats and Superheats had set the stage, Round 3 victories were ultimately decided by late overtakes, penalties and standout recovery drives in both OK Junior and OK.

Gorski takes Victory after late Junior drama

Daniel Miron Lorente led the OK Junior field away from pole and looked set to convert his strong weekend into victory, controlling the race for most of the 20 laps. But the closing stages turned the Final into a thriller.

Will Green briefly took the lead on lap 19 before Miron Lorente fought back on the final lap, crossing the line first on track. However, a five-second penalty dropped him to fifth in the final classification, handing victory to Leonardo Gorski after a superb charge from ninth on the grid.

Zdenek Babicek completed an impressive weekend by finishing second, having climbed from 32nd in Qualifying Practice to the front row for the Final. Julian Frasnelli recovered from 30th after the Superheats to complete the podium in third, with Green fourth and Miron Lorente classified fifth. Maxim Bobreshov, Oleksandr Legenkyi, Emerson Macandrew-Uren, Antoine Sylva Venant and Niccolò Perico completed the top ten after a race shaped by incidents, penalties and constant movement through the field.

Baglin seals Victory in the closing laps

The OK Final also delivered a major late-race shift. James Anagnostiadis started from pole and led the opening laps before Benjamin Manach moved to the front on lap four, controlling the race deep into the Final.

But Noah Baglin had other plans. Starting fifth after the Superheats, the KR Motorsport driver worked his way into contention and took over the lead on lap 19. From there, he held firm to take the Round 3 victory, adding another major result to his 2026 campaign.

Manach finished second, 0.740 seconds behind, while Anagnostiadis completed the podium in third after a strong weekend that included topping the intermediate classification. Zac Drummond continued his recovery from 32nd in Qualifying Practice to finish fourth, with Lev Krutoholov completing the top five. Henry Domain, Davide Bottaro, Marco Garst, Bosco Arias and Filippo Sala rounded out the top ten, while Ilie Tristan Crisan, who had taken pole in Qualifying Practice, saw his Final unravel and finished 27th.

Round 3 delivers in Germany

A new circuit brought new challenges, and Arena E Mülsen delivered exactly that. From changing leaders to late penalties and comeback drives, Round 3 provided a demanding test for drivers and teams across both categories. With Gorski and Baglin leaving Germany as the weekend's winners, attention now turns to the next stop of the Champions of the Future Euro Series as the fight for the 2026 titles continues.
