Highly decorated karting champion Lewis Gilbert will make the leap to the GB3 Championship with Arden Motorsport in 2026. The British driver from North Ayrshire is the first to step up directly into GB3 from karting for several years, and does so after being spotted by the new Arden Academy.

Xcel Motorsport has confirmed that GB3 race winner Lucas Fluxa will join the team for the 2026 season. The Spanish driver stepped up to GB3 last year following a race-winning F4 campaign in his homeland in 2024.

Hitech TGR’s Deagen Fairclough and Hillspeed debutant Maxim Rehm clinched victories on Sunday at Monza, while a fightback drive in race three was enough to secure the championship runner-up spot for Xcel’s Patrick Heuzenroeder.

PREMA Racing announces that Louis Sharp will compete with the team in the 2026 FIA Formula 3 Championship. The 18-year-old driver is set for his second year in the series after sealing off his maiden season with three points finishes.

Isaac Phelps will make his GB3 Championship and Monza debuts when the Hertfordshire youngster steps up from GB4 to contest the three final GB3 races of the season in Italy this weekend (18/19 October). The 16-year-old from Berkhamsted has just completed his maiden GB4 season with Elite, finishing vice-champion in his first year of single-seater racing, leading more laps and races than any other driver.

Highly rated German teenager Maxim Rehm has been officially confirmed as Hillspeed’s second driver for the GB3 Championship season finale at Monza in Italy.

Rodin Motorsport’s Alex Ninovic is the 2025 GB3 Champion, after yet another sensational performance at Donington Park. The Australian claimed his eighth win of the year in the first race of the day, overcoming a 10-second jump start penalty to put one hand on the title. Then, needing to finish ahead of his title rivals in the final race of the weekend, his task was made simple as the only other drivers in contention retired from the contest, and he finished seventh. 

The GB3 Championship, partnered by the BRDC, has released a new-look calendar for the 2026 season, with events at the Red Bull Ring and the season finale at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya being the headline additions. Both F1 venues are set to host GB3 action for the first time, with the season schedule retaining the customary eight-round, 24-race schedule.

Mallorca-born contender Lucas Fluxa will complete his maiden season in the GB3 Championship as a Hillspeed driver, after the multiple race-winning team confirmed it has signed a deal with the rapid 16-year-old.

GB3 Championship leader Alex Ninovic enjoyed perhaps his best day of the season so far, with a crushing display on Saturday on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit. The Australian delivered one of the most dominant qualifying performances in the championship’s history this morning, and converted that into a supreme win in race one, his fifth of the year. 

Hitech TGR’s Keanu Al Azhari and Rodin Motorsport’s Gianmarco Pradel were victorious on Sunday at Silverstone, with both drivers reigniting their title chances.

Rodin Motorsport’s Alex Ninovic and Argenti with Prema’s Reza Seewooruthun were the winners as GB3 Championship action at the Hungaroring came to a close with two entertaining contests on Sunday.
