The highly successful racing driver hit his head on a rock while skiing and suffered a severe brain injury. Since then, he has not appeared in public and no announcements about his condition are being made.

2022 will be a special season for the German Kart Championship. The international kart racing series celebrates its 60th birthday and is looking forward to an exciting program. Since the start of enrolment in mid-January, the fields of participants for the four predicates have been filling up steadily.
