F1 Academy has announced Esmee Kosterman as the Wild Card entry for Round 5 of the season at Circuit Zandvoort, representing TeamViewer, the global leader in remote connectivity and digital workplace solutions. The 20-year-old Dutch driver will debut with F1 Academy in a special edition livery that highlights innovators and changemakers driving progress – on and off the track.
 

After the summer break, the Iron Dames return to competition for one of the most intense weekends of the year. At Spa-Francorchamps, the all-female team resumes its European Le Mans Series and Michelin Le Mans Cup programmes. The German Kart Championship kicked off the second half of its season last weekend at the historic Erftlandring in Kerpen. At the fourth of five race weekends, more than 200 drivers lined up on the 1,107-meter cult track. In front of packed grandstands and under consistently dry late-summer weather, the six classes delivered thrilling karting action — including the first championship decision in the Minis. The final winners in Kerpen were Markus Kajak (DKM), Marc Alexander Reistrup (DJKM), Jeffrey Fikse (DSKC), Devin Titz (DMKM), Maxim Becker (X30 Junior) and Lars Ramaer (X30 Senior).

A significant weekend lies ahead for the ProKart Challenge program. The Superkarts! USA regional program is set to host Round Five of the 2025 schedule on August 23-24 at Sonoma Raceway. The weekend marks the first trip to the Sonoma, California facility for the organization since 2017 when they hosted the SKUSA Pro Tour SpringNationals.

Parolin’s Christian Costoya has secured the FIA Karting European Championship in the OK category despite extremely difficult weather conditions on Final day on the Danish coastal circuit.

This past weekend, the FIA European Championship for the OK and OK Junior categories concluded at the Rødby circuit in Denmark, with a splendid victory for the CRG Racing Team. Viktor Gustavsson won the Final in the OK category ahead of his teammate Davide Bottaro, securing a fantastic one-two finish.

Fortec Motorsports’ Jack Taylor stormed to his second victory of the weekend in an enthralling second race of the weekend at Silverstone, before Pace Performance’s Stefan Bostandjiev claimed his and the team’s first single-seater victory in a tense third race this afternoon.
 

The particularly changeable weather conditions in southern Denmark during the final round of the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship - OK & OK-Junior and the FIA Karting Academy Trophy - Senior produced many twists and turns. In OK, Sweden's Viktor Gustafsson caused a surprise by winning the Final, while Spain's Christian Costoya had enough of a lead to be crowned Champion despite retiring. The Netherlands' Dean Hoogendoorn secured a fourth place finish, enough to take the European OK-Junior Championship, while Canada's Ilie Crisan sped to victory. In the Academy-Senior class, Japan's Yuzuki Sato scored a double victory by winning the race and the title.

Freddie Slater delivered a solid weekend at Imola, home to the sixth round of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. Starting from the front row twice after leading his qualifying group for both races,  he stormed back to P2 after dropping one spot at the start. Unfortunately, after a controlled run in Race 2, his car was disqualified for a technical infraction.

It was a perfect weekend for Akshay Bohra at Imola, where the R-ace GP driver secured his first-ever pole position and followed it up with a maiden win in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine in Race 2.

Hitech TGR’s Keanu Al Azhari and Rodin Motorsport’s Gianmarco Pradel were victorious on Sunday at Silverstone, with both drivers reigniting their title chances.
