Drivers in the colours of the Modena Kart team have become regulars on the podiums of the biggest events since the start of 2025, in the WSK Promotion series as well as the ACI Karting Italian Championship. At the wheel of their OK-N Junior Parolin / TM Karts, the Italian team has just put together a sensational all-round performance at Sarno, with Albert Tamm taking victory, Gioele Girardello 3rd, and Nojus Stasionis 5th.
Almost 25 years of competition and victories
Modena Kart was founded in 2001 by the Finocchi brothers, Gabriele and Gionata. Before entering into a close and effective partnership with Parolin Motorsport in 2023, the team had acquired a wealth of experience at the highest international level alongside prestigious brands such as CRG and Birelart, and had also built up an impressive track record, in Italy and also in FIA Karting, with numerous titles to its name. 2020 will remain a landmark year for Modena Kart, when the team won the World Cup and was crowned European Vice-Champion in KZ2. Just a few months ago, Maksim Orlov finished 3rd in the FIA Karting European Championship.
The team can count on a strengthened management with Gabriele Finocchi as team principal, Gionata Finocchi as technical director, Alessandro Palloni as team manager and Roberto Di Cioccio as data engineer.

Podium at the start of the 2025 season
A specialist in the KZ categories for many years, Modena Kart is also involved, with its usual expertise, in other karting formulas, notably in OK-N Junior. In January, during the first round of the WSK Super Master Series at La Conca, Gioele Girardello made an incredible comeback to secure 3rd place on the podium. The following races were all about performance. The quality of the Parolin / TM Kart equipment and the technical skills of the Modena Kart team enabled Girardello to take a major victory at Franciacorta. In the end, the young Italian talent finished 3rd in the most important international series of the early season.
For Modena Kart, a double podium finish was also on the cards at the WSK Euro Series in Viterbo, with Albert Tamm taking 2nd place ahead of Gioele Girardello.

Success in the Italian Championship
In OK-N Junior, Modena Kart maintained its positive momentum in the ACI Karting Italian Championship. At each of the three podium ceremonies at Ugento, Viterbo and Sarno, the Modena Kart Team saw at least one of its drivers lift a trophy on one of the steps of the podium. This was the case for Italian Gioele Girardello at Ugento in the extreme south of Italy. Then Swiss driver Albert Tamm pulled out all the stops to win back-to-back Finals in Viterbo and Sarno. At the foot of Mount Vesuvius, Girardello joined his team-mate on the podium in 3rd place, while Lithuania's Nojus Stasionis climbed to 5th and Italy's Federico Mirabella to 11th. The four drivers are all ranked in the top 10 in the overall Championship standings after Sarno, with Tamm and Girardello hoping to aim for the championship title in 2025. Stasionis is also well placed to reach the top three.
In KZ2, Modena Kart has become the official team of the Parolin factory. Following Maksim Orlov's brilliant performances in 2024, which included victory in the European Championship at Val Vibrata, drivers such as Alessio Piccini and Anatholy Khavalkin are making a name for themselves in the major international FIA Karting events.
