The third round of the IAME Euro Series took place at ProKart Raceland in Wackersdorf, a fast, technical circuit nestled in Bavaria near the Czech border. Weather conditions evolved over the weekend—Friday brought rain, Saturday remained cool and cloudy, while Sunday ended on a high with warm sunshine, setting the stage for an action-packed Finals day.
As the curtain came down on an action-packed weekend, building on Saturday’s 24 qualifying heats, drivers faced a final test in the morning Super Heats before the afternoon Finals decided the trophies. As conditions got warmer for the last day, the drivers went all-out in their effort to maximize the vital championship points before the series heads to its conclusion at Mariembourg.

X30 Senior: Lloyd rises to the occasion
Ruben Moya (Pantano Racing Team) emerged as the top contender in the X30 Senior category following the merged results of the Qualifying Heats, collecting three individual heat wins to secure the top spot overall. Joan Aluja Olesti (MDC Racing) was close behind, showing impressive consistency across the various groups. Danny Carenini (Zanchi Motorsport) maintained his front-running pace to take third in the combined classification, followed by Lars Ramaer (Haupt Racing Team) and Sebastiano Pavan (Pantano Racing Team), both of whom delivered standout performances across multiple heats. The merged results of Superheat A and B saw the same trio—Moya, Aluja Olesti, and Carenini—retain their grip on the top three positions, with Aaron Garcia Lopez (MDC Racing) and Pavan rounding out the top five as the grid for the Final was set.
In the Final, Freddie Lloyd (Premium Karting) stole the show with a stunning drive from tenth on the grid to claim victory, showing impeccable pace and control in the closing laps. Garcia Lopez capped off a strong weekend with second place, while Jacob Micallef (Zanchi Motorsport) carved his way through the field to secure third. Carenini added a fourth-place finish to his string of strong results, while Pavan completed the top five, underlining his consistency throughout all phases of the event.
Lloyd reacted to his one-off triumph: “We got a good start, managed to get to the front pack and kept our head cool. It started to kick off a bit and I picked them off one by one. Went for the lead and then managed the gap and the win.”

X30 Junior – Cranham Controls the Field in a Perfect Weekend Performance
Riley Cranham (Fusion Motorsport) was the clear frontrunner in the X30 Junior category, dominating the merged results of the Qualifying Heats with two wins and a second place. Matching him on points but narrowly behind on tiebreak was Didier Kreeft (Fusion Motorsport), who showed equal consistency in his heat group. Jesse Phillips (Fusion Motorsport) placed third with two strong victories of his own, ahead of Stig De Raedemaeker (Fusion Motorsport) and Finlay Lines (Maximum Motorsport), who completed the top five after solid performances across their respective groups. In the combined Super Heat rankings, Cranham again came out on top, followed by Lines, who made up ground with the highest merged Super Heat total. Kreeft held firm in third, while Louis Baziret (Victorylane Karting) and Jarlath Sayer (Xcel Motorsport) climbed the ranks with excellent drives in their respective Super Heats.
The Final was a lights-to-flag triumph for Cranham, who capped off his perfect weekend with a dominant victory. Kreeft crossed the line just 0.137 seconds behind to secure a Fusion Motorsport one-two finish. Baziret delivered an outstanding performance to take third for Victorylane Karting, charging up from the mid-field. Will Green (Jamie Green Racing) showcased strong pace to climb to fourth, while Archie Owen (BMR) completed the top five after consistently rising through the ranks in every phase of the weekend.
Cranham now has three podiums and two wins under his belt this season, calling his run “not too bad” as he extends his championship lead to 277 points, 110 clear of Baziret in second. He looks to maintain his championship lead going into Belgium: “I’m going to keep calm and we will see how we go in Mariembourg.

X30 Mini: Becu Breaks Through in Wackersdorf as Favourites Slip
Christian Coby (Fusion Motorsport) was the benchmark in Mini, leading the merged Qualifying Heats classification with two victories and a second place. Harry Williams (Fusion Motorsport) followed closely with a trio of high-scoring finishes, while Austin Newstead (Fusion Motorsport) secured third overall thanks to a heat win and a consistent run. Mayson Hibbert (Fusion Motorsport) and George Clarke (Fusion Motorsport) rounded out the top five after solid results in their respective groups. In the merged Super Heats, Coby extended his lead with another strong performance, narrowly edging out Williams, who again placed second. Clarke moved up to third overall with a win in his Super Heat, followed by Daniel Ferguson (Fusion Motorsport) and Hibbert, both of whom stayed firmly in the mix heading into the Final.
The Final saw a dramatic shake-up as Milan Becu (EGP Racing Team) seized a sensational victory, crossing the line just 0.016 seconds ahead of Abraham Schelvis (Pantano Racing Team) in a photo finish. Nahyl Nagy El Gahoudi (MDC Racing) completed the podium with a strong drive to third. Hibbert continued his consistent form with fourth place for Fusion Motorsport, just ahead of teammate Clarke in fifth. Austin Newstead and Daniel Ferguson added more Fusion entries to the top ten, but earlier leader Coby and fellow front-runner Williams both suffered unfortunate DNFs, underlining the unpredictability of the Mini category.
“It was a very hectic race, especially the final lap where Schelvis and I changed positions. After that, I overtook him back and now I’m very happy,” Becu reflected. Despite the result, House retains the championship lead on 206 points, with Becu climbing to second on 153.
