Modena Kart places two drivers on the final podium of the WSK Euro Series

The 2025 WSK Euro Series ended on a high note for Modena Kart. In May in Viterbo, the Italian team had already celebrated exceptional 2nd and 3rd places for Albert Tamm and Gioele Girardello in OK-N Junior. Seven weeks later, another double podium rewarded the team's hard work and the performance of the drivers at the wheel of their Parolin-TM Karts. This brilliant result allowed the two Modena Racing drivers to claim two new trophies: the runner-up title for Girardello and 3rd place in the overall standings for Tamm.

Consistent performance

Thanks to prestigious and competitive partners such as Parolin Motorsport and TM Kart, meticulous preparation of equipment and a particularly competent track operations team, Modena Kart continues to deliver excellent performances in every race. The team had already achieved great results in Sarno for the Italian Championship and the FIA Karting European Championship. Modena Karting approached the second and final round of the WSK Euro Series in Cremona from 1st to 5th July with the same motivation.

A magnificent pole position for Tamm

Facing extremely tough competition, Albert Tamm and Gioele Girardello immediately took the top two places in Qualifying after already setting the fastest times in both groups in official free practice. The event continued with four wins in the heats and several fastest laps, not to mention two more 1st places in the warm-ups.

A 100% Modena Kart front row in the final

On the starting grid for the Final, the two Parolin-TM Kart-Vega karts of the Italian and Swiss drivers were on the front row. In Cremona, the race proved to be very competitive between several drivers. Gioele Girardello brilliantly crossed the finish line in 2nd place. Unfortunately, Albert Tamm was stuck on the outside at the start and lost valuable places on the first lap. It was a shame, as he was then the fastest on the track, which allowed him to climb back up to 3rd place. It was clear that he could have fought for victory. Modena Kart also congratulates Federico Mirabella for his sensational comeback in the Final. Starting in 30th place, the Italian finished in 13th place!

A double podium before new goals

Adding the points from Viterbo, Modena Kart came very close to the title in OK-N Junior, but made its mark on this series by continuously performing at the forefront with its drivers. Just five points behind the leader, Girardello finished the WSK Euro Series as runner-up in the WSK Euro Series, just ahead of Albert Tamm.

Comment from Gabriele Finocchi, Team Principal of Modena Kart

"In Cremona, our drivers took 1st place in the Qualifying sessions, after the heats and after the Super Heats. Only the victory in the Final escaped us by less than 5 tenths! But I am convinced that we will have other opportunities to win this year, for example in the Italian Championship, which continues at this same circuit in Cremona. I would like to commend the work of the entire team, as well as the exceptional performance of the Parolin chassis and TM Kart engines.”

Team Manager Alessandro Palloni’s perspective on the conclusion of the WSK Euro Series

“We leave this WSK Euro Series with a great sense of satisfaction. Seeing two of our drivers on the final championship podium is a fitting reward for the hard work accomplished over the past few months. Every member of the team has played a crucial role, both on and off the track. I want to highlight the excellent synergy between the drivers, the technical staff, and our partners. We still have good potential to develop and new goals to reach, particularly with the Italian Championship continuing. This consistency in performance encourages us to keep moving forward with ambition and discipline.”
