Whilst Senna van Walstijn claimed a commanding victory in the KZ class at the Le Mans Karting Grand Prix, ably supported on the podium by Matheus Morgatto and Anthony Abbasse, young Cees Muijs secured the very first podium finish for the Sodi Mini chassis on the international stage at Franciacorta.

The World Championship event in Franciacorta will undoubtedly remain one of the most memorable FIA Karting events of recent years. All the ingredients were there: ideal weather conditions for the season in northern Italy, a magnificent field of 250 drivers, non-stop action on the track, a large audience around the track and watching the live stream, and superb organisation masterfully led by the Franciacorta Karting Track team. After 33 Qualifying Heats run from Friday afternoon to Saturday evening, uncertainty still reigns at the Franciacorta International Circuit. An exceptional field of 253 drivers, representing dozens of nationalities, is expected in northern Italy from 9th to 12th October 2025.

As in 2023, the FIA Karting prize-giving ceremony took place in Nice, France, on Saturday 7th December at the Hyatt Regency Palais de la Méditerranée. The karts of the three World Champions were displayed to the guests.

Following their excellent results in the FIA Karting European Championship in the Shifter categories, Sodi chassis continued their haul of success on the Portimao circuit in southern Portugal. Anthony Abbasse, who dominated the KZ2 Masters, won the Champions of the Future Shifter 2024 title.

For four days, the Algarve International Karting Circuit in Portimao vibrated to the rhythm of the KZ, KZ2 and KZ Master karts at a meeting eagerly awaited by competitors. The drivers and teams were able to work in a variety of weather conditions, gathering a wealth of data and gaining a much better understanding of the Portimao track. Many of the drivers were taking part in a Champions of the Future event for the first time and appreciated the professionalism of the organisation put in place by RGMMC. On a warm and sunny day of southern Portugal, Frenchman Jérémy Iglesias won the KZ class, Romanian Daniel Vasile won the KZ2 class and Frenchman Anthony Abbasse dominated the KZ Master class.
