Once again, the CRG colors proved to be among the stars of the KZ category, taking 2nd place in the FIA World Championship held in Italy. On the Franciacorta track, Viktor Gustavsson was crowned World Vice Champion, continuing CRG’s long-standing tradition of strong results in the “top class” of shifter karting.

The wait is over: from Thursday, October 9th to Sunday, October 12th, the Franciacorta circuit in Italy will host the most important event of the year for the Shifter categories — the FIA World Championship KZ-KZ2 and KZ2 Master. Over 250 drivers and the most prestigious international karting teams will compete for the most coveted title in the gearbox categories.

October will be the month with the KZ2 and KZ categories taking center stage in the international karting scene. Next weekend (with Finals scheduled for Saturday, October 4), the 2nd and final round of the Champions of the Future will take place in Franciacorta, Italy. The following week, from October 8 to 11, on the same track, the most important event of the season for the Shifter categories is scheduled: the FIA World Championship KZ and the World Cup KZ2 and KZ Master. The most prominent drivers and teams in these categories will be based in Italy for 15 days to crown the 2025 World Champions. CRG boasts a prestigious and winning history in these categories, and once again this year, CRG and Kalì Kart chassis are expected to be among the frontrunners.
 

The season’s most important event for the OK and OK Junior categories concluded at the Kristanstad circuit in Sweden. After last year’s OK title in England, the CRG Racing team arrived in Sweden ready to fight for top results again. Despite strong pace throughout the weekend, the decisive step for a podium finish in Sunday’s Finals was just missing.

The biggest event of the season for the OK and OK Junior classes is just around the corner: from Thursday, September 11 to Sunday, September 14, the FIA World Championship will light up the Kristianstad track in Sweden.

On the Kristianstad circuit, the long preparation begins for the FIA World Championship OK and OK Junior, scheduled from September 11 to 14. After the test sessions held in August and last weekend, from today until Sunday the 7th, the 5th round of the Champions of The Future is on the program—a race that will exactly replicate the format of the World Championship.

This past weekend, the FIA European Championship for the OK and OK Junior categories concluded at the Rødby circuit in Denmark, with a splendid victory for the CRG Racing Team. Viktor Gustavsson won the Final in the OK category ahead of his teammate Davide Bottaro, securing a fantastic one-two finish.

This weekend, at the Rødby circuit in Denmark, the final round of the four-race FIA European Championship for OK and OK Junior will take place. The paddock for the direct-drive categories has been in Denmark for over ten days, as all the teams took part in the pre-race COTF last weekend and in collective testing the week before.

Third and final round of the FIA European Championship KZ and KZ2 this week at the German circuit of Mülsen. From Thursday, July 17 to Sunday, July 20, the continental titles for 2025 will be awarded on this technical track in Saxony, even though the sporting value of this season has been heavily compromised by the well-known tire issues.
 

This week, from 3 to 6 April, the Campillos circuit in Spain will open the FIA ​​Karting season, with the OK and OK Junior European Championship over 4 rounds, the KZ and KZ2 European Championship over 3 rounds and the two World Championships, one for the OK categories and one for the KZ classes, in two separate events both in a single round. The FIA ​​events program will be completed by the World Cup for the OKN categories in September in Italy.

The engines are turned on today for the first free practice sessions on the Campillos circuit where the 1st round of the Champions of the Future series for the OK and OK Junior categories is scheduled for Saturday. This Series will take place over 5 rounds and will follow the same calendar as the FIA European Championship and will end on the eve of the FIA World Championship on the Kristianstad track, Sweden. For this reason, it represents a great test in preparation for the FIA events, also because, unlike other international meetings, it is run with the same tyres.

This weekend, a selection of CRG official drivers will take part in the 3rd Round of the WSK Master Series scheduled on the Lonato track. This is an important technical shakedown for the team, which will make its first official appearance in the race led by the new Team Principal Jeremy Iglesias. The former French driver will be assisted by Natalia Balbo and Brandon Nilsson, who led the team last year and, after the intense winter testing programme, the Lonato event will be very useful for refining all the management balances in the context of the short and frenetic times of a race weekend.

A long and positive racing season for the CRG Racing Team came to an end with the 2nd Round of the WSK Final Cup on the Cremona track. This last international event of the year confirmed the great competitiveness achieved in the OK Junior category, where work is underway towards 2025 and where Sebastian Minns and Asher Ochstein have had a weekend as great protagonists since the eliminatory Heats.

The most important event of the season for the Shifter categories, the FIA ​​World Championship KZ-KZ2 and KZ2 Masters which took place in Portugal, confirmed the CRG colors among the most competitive in these categories, which have always been very relevant in terms of importance on the karting world market. The seal of prestige in a weekend heavily influenced by the weather came with the podium in KZ2 by Paavo Tonteri, P3 at the end of a journey always among the big names, starting from Qualifying Practice.

A perfect weekend in Portimao for Jeremy Iglesias and the CRG Racing Team, who won the Champions of The Future in the KZ top class, the preparatory event for the FIA ​​World Championship KZ, scheduled in Portugal from 10th to 13th October.

From 25th to 28th September on the Portimao circuit will take place a race for the shifter categories organized by RGMMC, the promoter of the FIA ​​Championships. This event, which will end on Saturday, will be a practice run in view of the FIA ​​World Championship KZ-KZ2 and KZ2 Masters scheduled in Portugal on October 13th. All the potential protagonists of the KZ category will get behind the wheel to work on chassis and engine setups in view of the World Championship.

From 29 August to 1 September the Val Vibrata circuit in Italy will make its return to international karting by hosting the 2nd and final Round of the FIA European Championship - KZ, KZ2 and KZ2 Masters. The 2024 Championship was divided into 2 races after the delays at the beginning of the season regarding the choice of tires and, therefore, after the opening race in Aragon, the Italian track will host the decisive round to elect this season's continental champions.
 

The KZ categories confirm themselves in the DNA of CRG, which for years has continued to be one of the most constant brands at the top of international races in the gear classes. Even on the Aragon track in Spain, where the FIA​​European Championship started later than what expected this year, the CRG drivers made a strong impression right from the Free Practice, confirming once again the great versatility of the CRG chassis and the performance of the TM engines.

The FIA ​​Karting European Championship - KZ, KZ2 and KZ2 Masters will start this weekend, from 4 to 7 July on the Aragon circuit in Spain. We could say, at last, considering that in recent years the 1st Round of the Euro for the shifter classes has never started so late in the racing season.

The International Circuit La Conca is gearing up to celebrate the champions of the WSK Open Series. The grand finale of the series will take place on Saturday, May 11th with the title decider for KZ2, KZ2 Masters, OK-N, OK-NJ, MINI Gr.3 and MINI Gr.3 U10. The first event held last month at the Franciacorta Karting Track saw the OK-N and OK-N Junior categories take to the track together for the first time in a WSK Promotion weekend, established by FIA Karting to facilitate the entry of drivers into OK and OKJ.
