The wait is over for the Lenovo Kalì Kart Team: on Saturday, February 14, the team will compete in Round 1 of the WSK Euro Series, the first race of the season. This important international event, scheduled at the Viterbo circuit, will serve as an excellent shakedown for the 2026 Kalì Kart chassis and for the new drivers who have joined the team and Lenovo’s Karting Academy project.

From Mini to KZ, KR chassis performed well in all categories during the second round of the WSK Super Master Series. This was clearly the Italian brand's goal for this trip to the Sarno circuit, which is preparing to host an FIA Karting event, the Champions of the Future Euro Series and an ACI Italian Championship event.

After the positive experience in the final two rounds of the 2025 WSK Final Cup in Cremona and Lonato, Davide Bottaro has been confirmed by Lenovo as the lead driver of the Kalì Kart partnership project within the CRG Group. Davide will compete in the OK category with an intense racing programme, focusing primarily on FIA Karting events (European Championship and World Championship), alongside participation in the Champions of the Future and a selection of WSK events.

Within CRG’s headquarters, the guidelines for the first full season that the Lenovo Kalì Kart team will face in 2026 have been outlined. The official Kalì Kart team (a brand owned by CRG), which has been racing under the prestigious colors of its title sponsor Lenovo since last September, looks to 2026 with high ambitions, bringing to the track a broad and structured project focused particularly on youth categories.

The World Championship event in Franciacorta will undoubtedly remain one of the most memorable FIA Karting events of recent years. All the ingredients were there: ideal weather conditions for the season in northern Italy, a magnificent field of 250 drivers, non-stop action on the track, a large audience around the track and watching the live stream, and superb organisation masterfully led by the Franciacorta Karting Track team. Three drivers enjoyed a great first. Dutchman Senna Van Walstijn won the Mondokart.com FIA Karting World Championship - KZ, Maksim Orlov dominated the FIA Karting World Cup - KZ2 and Angelo Lombardo held off Davide Fore in the FIA Karting International Super Cup - KZ2 Masters.

Since the beginning of October, the Franciacorta paddock has echoed with the sound of 125cc gearbox engines from the various KZ categories. With 203 participants, the Champions of the Future Shifter kicked off the action on the initiative of promoter RGMMC. From 9th to 12th October, FIA Karting will take over with the World Championship, with no fewer than 253 drivers expected in the Italian region of Brescia. The new FIA Karting event, which brought together the OK-N and OK-N Junior World Cups, as well as the third and final competition of the Academy Trophy - Junior, lived up to all expectations. On the Cremona circuit, the last day ended in sunshine with some very exciting Finals. Italy's Manuel Scognamiglio made the difference in OK-N, and his compatriot Gioele Girardello made history by becoming the first winner of the OK-N Junior World Cup. While Lithuania's Nojus Stasionis won the Academy - Junior Final, the title was clinched by Finland's Oiva Vettenranta on the final lap

The FIA Karting is inaugurating a new event from 25th to 28th September 2025 with the World Cup for the OK-N and OK-N Junior categories alongside the third and final competition of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy - Junior. The 211 participants started the Free Practice sessions with great ambitions, despite changing weather conditions throughout the sessions. The Cremona track was not completely dry when some of the drivers took to the track for Qualifying, forcing the teams to make difficult choices. In the Lombardy region of Italy, South African William Marshall in OK-N, Italian Gioele Girardello in OK-N Junior and Lithuanian Nojus Stasionis in Academy-Junior achieved the fastest times.

In Sweden, the fifth and final round of the 2025 Champions of the Future Euro Series was a triumph for KR chassis and the teams defending the colours of the Kart Republic Global Motorsport Company group. In OK, the entire top eight in the Final was made up of KR-IAME karts. Daniel Kelleher crossed the finish line as the winner ahead of Kenzo Craigie, who won the series ahead of five other KR chassis! In OK-Junior, Noah Baglin dominated the Final, and Devin Walz secured a one-two finish for the Italian brand. Baglin also lifted the championship trophy on the top of the podium.
