The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team is delighted to announce its Junior Programme line-up for 2025. This year, the programme expands to include twelve talented young drivers, competing across various categories from karting to FIA Formula 3.

René Lammers will remain with MP Motorsport for a second season in the F4 Spanish Championship in 2025, where the Dutch talent will be focused on building on the experience he gained during his rookie campaign.

Argenti with Prema has confirmed the signing of Yuanpu Cui for the 2025 GB3 Championship. Cui steps up as he continues his racing journey with the team in partnership with Prema. 

Since its splendid podium finish in the OK World Championship, Energy Corse has put in a string of top-class performances. Winner of the Rok Superfinal, the Industrial Trophy and the Italian Championship, the Italian brand also made it onto the podium in Las Vegas, the German Championship and the WSK Final Cup, where the team's colours shone in Lonato and Cremona, notably with Italian Niccolo Perico and Estonian Mark Loomets.

The 2024 WSK Open Series kicked off in Franciacorta with a large field of 82 drivers in the KZ2 category and a sensational overall result for the Sodikart brand: victory for Senna Van Walstijn, two Sodi chassis on the podium and six in the top 12! The French team, with the support of CPB Sport, provided their drivers with particularly high-performance equipment for this major international event.

A record of participation was anticipated for the 35th Andrea Margutti Trophy at the South Garda Karting, organized by Parma Motorsport. There were about 300 participants in the 35th Andrea Margutti Trophy at South Garda Karting in Lonato across the MINI, OKN, OKNJ, OKJ and KZ2 categories, with drivers coming from 41 nations. Young Dutch karting sensation René Lammers has reached an agreement with MP Motorsport to enter the future together. The 15-year-old Zandvoort resident will compete in the Spanish F4 championship in 2024 while preparing for that this winter by racing in the Formula Winter Series in Spain.

The Italian team refueled during the winter break and set off again to attack the podiums, which have already been numerous in 2023. From the Winter Cup, Martin Molnar triumphed in OK. In WSK, Danny Carenini won in IAME-X30 Junior at the Open Series, before winning again a week later at the famous Andrea Margutti Trophy. There were also podiums at the WSK Super Master Series with Dries Van Langendonck in OK-Junior and at the WSK Champions Cup with Tomass Stolcermanis in OK.

After the first two days dedicated to qualifying practice and heats, the 34th Trofeo Andrea Margutti organized by Parma Motorsport is ready for the final stages on Sunday, March 19th at South Garda Karting in Lonato. The live streaming will start at 11:20 with the Prefinals, and from 14:20 with the Finals of OK-Junior, MINI Gr3 Under 10, MINI Gr.3, KZ2, X30 Senior and X30 Junior.

The Birel ART Racing Team was looking forward to the start of the FIA Karting European Championships. They arrived in Portimao with a particularly sharp technical package, both in the OK class and in OK-Junior. Kirill Kutskov was constantly at the top of the rankings and could certainly have aimed for better than 8th place in the Junior Final, if he hadn't had a retirement in a Qualifying Heat. And in OK, Cristian Bertuca was close to the top ten when he had to retire.

The Sodikart brand and its partner CPB Sport once again demonstrated the quality of their equipment in KZ2, dominating the opening round of the WSK Open Cup. In the wet as well as in the dry, the Sodi-TM packages proved to be impressive in Lonato. Senna Van Walstijn finished as the winner, while Adrien Renaudin completed his magnificent comeback with a 3rd place in the Final.

The last international competition of the season, the WSK Open Cup took place as a double meeting from 24th to 29th November on the Adria Karting Raceway. Very solid at the front of the Mini category, Maciej Gladysz won the series classification with a good lead over his opponents. Kai Sorensen did a great job in OK-Junior, and Rashid Al Dhaheri showed good performances.

Parmasport Ssd, as the organizer of the Andrea Margutti Trophy scheduled for next Sunday, March 1^st, 2020, following the recent “Coronavirus” emergency issued by the Italian Health Ministry, in agreement with Regione Lombardia, communicates that due to force majeure reasons not attributable to the organizer, the race is postponed to a later date to be decided. 

On track categories MINI, OKJ, KZ2, Iame X30 Senior and X30 Junior. Entry lists to open on February 3rd 2020. The “Andrea Margutti” Trophy continues to honour the memory of the young karting promise Andrea Margutti with the 31st edition of the event that started back in 1990. The 2020 event will take place as usual at the South Garda Karting Circuit in Lonato on February 27th – March 1st with the organization by Parma Motorsport. Entry lists to open on February 3rd.

A very wet edition has been dominated by Giannoni in KZ2, who also won the overall Memorial Carlo Fabi. The Dutch Vanthoff won OK, Cenedese OK-Junior, the Russian Kutskov Minikart and Carenini X30 Senior. The 48th Trofeo delle Industrie has lived a very difficult edition due to the rain that made things tricky in qualifying practice and heats on Saturday and on Sunday, November 3rd, when the track was soaked for the final stages of the event organized by Parma Motorsport at the South Garda Karting Circuit in Lonato.

In the wake of an already very successful start to the season, the Energy Corse team has taken podiums in different categories and competitions: WSK, Andrea Margutti Trophy, National Championships, as well as in FIA Karting. At Wackersdorf in the German Kart Grand Prix, Emil Skaras led the KZ2 Final from start to finish with an Energy Corse-TM package more effective than ever before. The Swedish driver is now a strong leader of the European Championship!

Alex Powell's last two races in Italy and France have further proved that the young and talented Jamaican kart racer remains one of the top drivers in the 60 Mini category. In mid-April at Lonato, Italy, Alex finished 5th in the prestigious Andrea Margutti Trophy. Two weeks later, the driver from the Energy Corse team scored significant points at the WSK Euro Series in France at Angerville, near Paris, thanks to a 2nd place in the Prefinal and a 6th in the Final. Between these two events, Alex went to Florida, to the Homestead circuit in South Miami, where he won brilliantly in Mini Swift.
