Three different drivers stood atop the podium during a thrilling Formula Regional Middle East Championship Certified by FIA (FRMEC) Round 3 at Dubai Autodrome, but it was a fourth who emerged from the action with an expanded points lead. While Taylor Barnard, Nikhil Bohra, and Rafael Câmara tasted glory on the weekend, in the longer game it is Tuukka Taponen who is looking ever more difficult to beat to the ultimate prize, with two events – comprising a total of six races – remaining.

The Formula Regional Middle East Championship certified by FIA (FRMEC) was the domain of the sensational Tuukka Taponen over the course of the second round on the full 5.281km Formula 1 layout of the Yas Marina Circuit. The 17-year-old Finn, who is backed by the Ferrari Driver Academy, topped both qualifying sessions and then drove his R-ace GP car to his first two victories in the category. 

Qualifying practice and the initial heats of the weekend will be on Friday, November 24th. Additional heats will follow on Saturday, while the Prefinals and Finals will enjoy Live Streaming on TV on Sunday, November 26th.

The Polish driver from US Racing had won the first race of the season at Imola, and today he closed the circle by winning the final one at Vallelunga. Ugochukwu finished in P2 and Taponen in third on the last podium of the year.

Kacper Sztuka enters the Olympus of the Italian F.4 Championship; he is the 10th Champion of the series. Despite a 5-second post-race penalty, the Pole still takes home the victory in Race 2 and closes the games. On the podium, Tuukka Taponen finishes in P2, and Brando Badoer takes third place.

The final qualifying session of the Italian F.4 Championship 2023 once again rewarded the incredible speed of the Polish driver Kacper Sztuka, who at the Vallelunga Circuit continued his series of pole positions collected. It's indeed another en plein for the US Racing driver, thus gaining a crucial advantage to finish the job and win the title.

The Italian F.4 Championship returns to the track this weekend with the sixth and penultimate round of the season. The summer break, now coming to an end, had started after the round at the Paul Ricard Circuit in Le Castellet.

Saturday morning at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza kicked off with the Euro 4 Championship qualifying sessions.
