The magnificent 7 winners of the WSK Final Cup 2025

The WSK Final Cup concluded at the South Garda Karting circuit in Lonato with a spectacular celebration of the event, highlighting the scale of international karting organized by WSK Promotion in the recurrence of its 20th year of activity.

For WSK Promotion, it was an adventure that began in 2006, which over these 20 years has reached extraordinary dimensions in the organization of 180 WSK Karting events and a total of 339 events overall, with a grand total of over 48,000 entries.

This success was also celebrated in this WSK Final Cup with yet another huge turnout across the three rounds of the 2025 season: from the opener in Franciacorta with 357 drivers, to the second round in Cremona with 336 drivers, and this final appointment in Lonato with 365 drivers, totalling 1,058 drivers coming from all five continents and from a remarkable 63 nations.

In the conclusive race, Marchesi took the lead almost immediately after overtaking Federico Rossi (AKM Motorsport-Parolin/TM Kart), who had stood out in the heats. Two other Italians finished on the podium: Matteo Melis (LA Motorsport-Parolin/TM Kart) climbed to the second step, and Peter Stiller (King Racing Team-KR/Iame) took third, both having made successful comebacks. After imposing himself at Franciacorta and Cremona, the Italian driver also secured the third success at Lonato, with a complete victory starting in the heats, and then in the Prefinal and the Final. There was nothing his opponents could do; Bertuca simply dominated the scene. The Frenchman Emilien Denner (Formula K SRP-IPK/TM Kart) deservedly joined him on the podium, proving to be an excellent performer in this event, but the other Italian, Giuseppe Palomba (Maranello Kart-Maranello/TM Kart), also delivered an outstanding performance, making a comeback of 16 positions to finish third overall. Another Italian, Danilo Albanese (Door Motorsport-KR/Iame), finished fourth, and Iaroslav Shevyrtalov (Drago Corse-New Drago/TM Kart) fifth.

The Italian Daniel Pasquali (CRG Racing Team-T-Group/TM Kart) moved into second position, and Nicolò Pacillo (BabyRace-Parolin/Iame) took third due to another 5-second penalty given to the American Zayne Burgess (Parolin Motorsport-Parolin/TM Kart), who was classified tenth from third place. The American Wynn Godschalk (Kidix-KR/Iame), already the winner of the first two rounds, successfully claimed the championship title, despite a 23-second penalty at Lonato, as his total score was unreachable by all others.

Kostrzewa jumped from third place in the championship to the lead and won the title by only two points over Palacio. A surprising victory for the Italian Valerio Viapiana (Team Driver-KR/Iame/Vega) who managed to outpace all rivals in the OKJ Final, securing a great win ahead of many category protagonists. The second place went to the Spaniard Daniel Miron Lorente (Fusion Motorsport-KR/Iame), ahead of one of the major title contenders, the Briton Will Green (Prema Racing-KR/Iame). Following them were the two Prema Racing teammates, the Dutchman Dean Hoogendoorn, the Prefinal winner, and Noah Baglin. It was Baglin who clinched the championship title, by only 5 points over the Spaniard Bosco Arias (Ricky Flynn-LN Kart/TM Kart), the previous championship leader who was involved in an incident at the start of the Final. In Lonato, Sala triumphed in the Final ahead of the Czech Jindrich Pesl (Tony Kart Racing Team-Tony Kart/Vortex), who, with this result, was able to confirm his position atop the championship standings and clinch the title, thanks also to the success achieved in Franciacorta. Finishing on the third step of the podium was the German Luke Kornder (Ricky Flynn-LN Kart/TM Kart), while Pesl's main rival, the Scot Zac Drummond (Fusion Motorsport-KR/Iame), winner in Cremona, finished in sixth place, securing second position in the championship, ahead of Sala.
