The changing weather conditions at the third round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series in Kristianstad enabled the Birel ART Racing team to gather a large amount of data in OK and OK-Junior. Drivers and technicians had to adapt constantly to ensure their competitiveness, which was certainly good training for the third round of the FIA European Karting Championship which will take place in Sweden in a fortnight.
Immediately after the start of the European OK and OK-Junior Championship in Portimão, the Birel ART Racing team headed to Spain to participate in the second round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series in Zuera. The Birel ART / TM Racing packages from the Red Army showed an excellent level of performance.
The Birel ART Racing Team was looking forward to the start of the FIA Karting European Championships. They arrived in Portimao with a particularly sharp technical package, both in the OK class and in OK-Junior. Kirill Kutskov was constantly at the top of the rankings and could certainly have aimed for better than 8th place in the Junior Final, if he hadn't had a retirement in a Qualifying Heat. And in OK, Cristian Bertuca was close to the top ten when he had to retire.
RGMMC organised the first round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series on the last weekend of March in Portugal. Its scheduling two weeks before the start of the FIA Karting European Championship - OK and OK-Junior made it a must-attend event. The fourth round of the WSK Super Master Series at the International Circuit Napoli of Sarno named the winners of all the titles. The finals in Sarno crowned the 2022 Champions of the WSK Super Master Series. The event held at the International Circuit Napoli was the fourth and closing round of the series after the opening two rounds run in Lonato and the third held last week in La Conca.
The final stages will take place on Sunday, March 13. A lot of spectacles is ahead at the International Circuit Napoli in Sarno. Prefinals will begin at 10.40, Finals at 14.20 and will be available in Live Streaming.
The fourth round of the WSK Super Master Series scored another great participation success as over 270 drivers are ready to compete at the International Circuit Napoli. Qualifying heats are underway.
All the four categories MINI, OKJ, OK and KZ2 will partake in the closing act of the series that will decide the titles of 2022. The decisive round will be held at the International Circuit Napoli in the weekend of March 11-13.
In the three categories on track at the International Circuit La Conca, the OKJ victory went to Oleksandr Bondarev, that of OK to Joe Turney, and MINI’s to Jindrich Pesl. The final round of the WSK Super Master Series will be in Sarno on March 13th.
The third round of the championship for the three categories OK, OKJ and MINI will get underway from March 3rd to 6th in La Conca. After the two rounds held in Lonato last January 30th and February 13th, the classifications are quite open with a lot of protagonists. The WSK season has come to an end at the circuit of Adria with the KZ2 title going to Francesco Celenta, that of OK to Arvid Lindblad, OKJ’s to Lucas Fluxa and MINI’s to David Cosma-Cristofor. A total of 275 drivers gathered in Adria from 45 different nations, as WSK races counted a global participation of 2.900 drivers in 2021.
