Two weeks after Elton Hedfors’ brilliant performance in the WSK Euro Series, Ioannis Kolovos has added a second victory in the ACI Sport Italian Championship. Having already won at La Conca, the young Greek driver put in an impressive performance in all conditions at the Val Vibrata circuit, where he triumphed in the Final whilst setting the fastest lap of the race.

The IAME Series Germany season is entering the final phase. When engines fire up on July 25 and 26 at the 1.3-kilometer Arena E circuit in Mülsen, the third of four scheduled rounds will take place. Talented drivers are heading to Saxony, ready to give their all in the battle for championship points, podium finishes, and crucial positioning ahead of the grand season finale.

A total of 135 drivers from 20 nations delivered thrilling racing on the 1,063-meter circuit. At the Cremona circuit, Max Orlov claimed the Championship ahead of his team-mates Dion Van Werven and Jenson Graham following a masterful Final race. Sodi chassis secured a one-two-three finish in the KZ2 class, whilst the Sodikart Racing Team showed great promise in Mini Gr.3 thanks to Alfie Garrett’s superb comeback.

In the second and final round of the FIA Karting European Championship for the shifter categories, held in Italy, the Tony Kart Racing Team sets the fastest time in qualifying and claims second place in the KZ2 category.

The FIA European Karting Championship for gearbox categories concluded from 2nd to 5th July at the Circuito Internazionale Napoli in Sarno. Following an intense weekend, the Sodi drivers left Italy with two podium finishes, a track record and a European runners-up title. In KZ, Matteo Spirgel secured 2nd place in the Final, whilst Jean Nomblot etched his name at the very top of the circuit’s record books. In KZ2, Matheus Morgatto took 3rd place on the podium with the fastest lap in the Final, bringing to a close a title battle that kept the paddock on the edge of their seats right to the very end, decided by a mere twelve points.

The second and final round of the FIA European Championship, held in Sarno, confirmed CRG’s position at the sharp end of the KZ categories. During the decisive weekend in Italy, Viktor Gustafsson finished 5th in the Final after securing pole position for the Super Heat at the end of the heats, ultimately closing the championship in 3rd place, just 12 points behind the winner.

The two standout stars of the second and final gearbox round of the 2026 Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship won not only the event but also the title at Sarno today (5 July) – as Emilien Denner and Kimi Tani sped to glory under the scorching southern Italian sun.

The third and final round of the WSK Euro Series will take place from Wednesday 8th to Saturday 11th at the Cremona Circuit with about 280 drivers. Decisive duels are expected in all categories.

In the ACI Karting Italian Championship, the Modena Kart Racing Team once again fought hard at the front of the field at Sarno in the OK-N Junior class. Radu Basescu Pricop and Ioannis Kolovos put in strong performances, confirming their places in the top five of the overall standings with two rounds remaining. At the “Circuito Internazionale Napoli”, Danila Verba secured the team’s best result at the wheel of his Parolin-TM Kart. He, too, has moved into the top 10 of the Championship.
