Under sunny skies, drivers completed their final free practice sessions before heading into timed qualifying on the fast 1699-metre circuit, known for its long straight lines and strong slipstream effect. The first competitive session of the season immediately delivered tight margins across all categories.

The major event in the 2025 IAME calendar got off to an intense start at the Lucas Guerrero International Circuit in Chiva, near Valencia. The substantial amount of entrants confirms the appeal of this event, and every available space in the paddock was needed to accommodate the drivers and the numerous teams in the best possible conditions. IAME, together with its partners RGMMC and the Spanish circuit managers, is once again offering a high standard of organisation this year.
