The second race day of the Champions of the Future Academy Program UK continued from Saturday’s momentum at Silverstone, with drivers returning to a cold but dry track in the morning. Grip built steadily through qualifying and heats before conditions shifted midway through the day, with rain arriving for the finals. With a full second set of results on the line, adapting to the evolving track became key.
Pattison controls the wet final to take victory
In Junior, Louis Radcliffe set the pace in qualifying, followed by Ava Lawrence and Sukhmani Khera, while Lucien Smith and Leo Livings were strong through the heats. Radcliffe remained in contention heading into the final after consistent results.
Rain arrived for the final, changing the conditions completely. From row two, Colbe Pattison took control early and built a gap, managing the race to secure victory. Behind him, penalties reshaped the order, with Harry Taylor and George Clarke completing the podium while the rest of the field fought through the wet conditions.

Late twist hands Hibbert another win after Forkes’ on-track move
In Mini, James Roots led qualifying ahead of Alfie Davidson and Hiro Tse Wang Chak, with a tightly packed field behind. Through the heats, Roots and Davidson remained closely matched, trading strong results, while Austin Oman and Bodhi Batch secured the front row for the final.
The final saw early battles between Oman, Batch, Roots and Davidson open the door for Mayson Hibbert and Chester Forkes to move forward. Forkes made a late move to take the lead on track, but a post-race penalty reshuffled the order, handing Hibbert the win. Albert Poulsen and Charles Clough completed the podium.
Whitticombe stretches the gap in changing conditions
In Senior, Harrison Whitticombe topped qualifying ahead of Lizzy Mentier and Emma Rose Dowling, with the top drivers closely matched. He carried that pace into the heats, including a dominant run in wet conditions that set him apart.
In the final, with rain affecting the track, Whitticombe controlled the race from the front and extended his advantage throughout. Mentier and Connor Large completed the podium, managing the conditions behind him as the gaps grew.
