Smith takes Junior victory in a close Finish
Lucien Smith topped Time Qualifying in OK-N Junior to take provisional pole position for the qualifying heats. He carried that form through the heats to head the combined standings into the final.
The final proved to be the tightest result of the day. Smith crossed the line first, with Sukhmani Khera closing to within 0.073 seconds at the chequered flag. A narrow margin that reflected the level of competition between the two throughout the race.

Forkes wins Mini 60 as Batch recovers
Chester Forkes claimed provisional pole position in Mini 60 after Time Qualifying and backed it up through the heats to take the grid advantage into the final.
The heat races brought some disruption to the order. Bodhi Batch retired from the second heat and was also subject to a time penalty for another contender, which reshuffled the grid heading into the afternoon. Forkes took a controlled victory in the final, while Batch recovered from his earlier difficulties to come through and finish second.

Whitticombe claims Senior victory, Cranham impresses on debut
Harrison Whitticombe set the pace in OK-N Senior throughout Race Day 1, taking pole position in Time Qualifying and leading the combined heat standings into the final. He converted that into a straightforward victory.
Craig Cranham made a positive impression on his debut in the category, finishing third. A time penalty applied to another driver in the final classification added some movement in the finishing order.
