Another warm day with sunny skies and light clouds greeted the drivers at the Circuito Internacional de Zuera as the 2026 IAME Euro Series season officially moved into racing action. With timed qualifying completed on Thursday, and a full schedule of qualifying heats throughout the day, the grids across Mini, Junior and Senior began to take shape ahead of Saturday’s Superheats and Finals.

Forkes leads the way in X30 Mini

After timed qualifying saw Alfie Davidson emerge at the top of the order, the qualifying heats quickly reshuffled the battle at the front. Chester Forkes proved the most consistent across the three races, collecting two heat victories to lead the intermediate classification. Ilyas Sami followed closely behind after a strong series of finishes, while Charles Clough secured third overall. Davidson and Dimitar Uzunov completed the intermediate top five, keeping themselves firmly in contention heading into the decisive races.

Gonzalez edges Junior battle

Ivan Gonzalez secured the fastest time in timed qualifying and carried that form into the heats, topping the intermediate classification after consistently strong results across the races. Max Endacott finished just one point behind in second, with George Clarke matching his tally but classified third. Sukhmani Khera and Nuvola Morales Mendez completed the top five after the heats, leaving the Junior category finely poised before the Superheats determine the Final grid.

Allemann on top in Senior

Dan Allemann set the benchmark in timed qualifying and maintained his momentum throughout the heats, finishing the day at the top of the classification. Javier Broasca and Otto Pyykönen followed closely behind, both remaining within striking distance after a competitive series of races. Aaron Garcia and Mateo Rivals completed the top five after the heats. Rubén Moya also ran strongly during the day but saw his fight for the top positions compromised in the final heat after an engine issue forced his retirement while leading.
