After the not very lucky opening in Zuera, CRG’s Racing Team worked hard to improve its performance and all drivers are resolute to run a strong race.

International Karting has finally returned on the eve of the 1st FIA race of the season: the European Championship for the OK and OK Junior classes, which this year due to COVID-19, will be held over 3 races instead of 4 after the cancellation of the scheduled race in Kristianstad, Sweden. Spain also risked to be cancelled due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus in the region of Aragón, but the FIA promoter managed to confirm the event and, albeit with many precautions, without the public as spectators and with many drivers being absent, the season will officially begin. After Spain, the season events move to the Italian track in Sarno on August 23rd and will close in Germany in Wackersdorf on September 13th.

The double round of the WSK Master, held in Adria from June 29th to July 5th, ended with a positive balance for the CRG team. The team’s target was being back at work after the lockdown only with the KZ drivers, in view of the FIA European Championship that will take place on this track in August. The team decided to concentrate only on the KZ classes, postponing the return on track for the OK Junior, OK and Mini drivers at the WSK Euro Series in Sarno.

All the pieces of the puzzle are being put back in place as for the International Karting calendar. In recent days, the FIA ​​has officially canceled the 1st round of the OK-OK Junior European Championship in Kristianstad and consequently the single-gear categories will have a 3-stage Championship: Zuera on August 2nd, Sarno on August 23rd and Wackersdorf on September 13th. The KZ classes, on the other hand, will compete in the European Championship on 2 events: the first in Adria on August 16th and the final in Genk on September 6th.
