The new Champions of the future Academy Program series by RGMMC, launched between the 20th and 22nd of November at the kart circuit of the Al Forsan International Sports Resort in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As an exciting change to the traditional weekend format the event took place between Monday and Wednesday just before, and only a few kilometers distance from the final round of Formula1 even, facilitated F1 Academy members and junior scouts to be present and keep an eye for new talents. Emotional scenes ensued as he celebrated the victory. Second was defending Australian Champion, Joshua Fife who started his campaign well. Grabbing his best finish in KZ2 was Championship stalwart, Reece Cohen, who had put in a summer of hard work off-track to finish third. Another to record his best finish was New Zealander Nathan Crang.

Josh Fife has claimed his second SP Tools KZ2 Australian Kart Championship, presented by Castrol EDGE in Newcastle on Sunday after an epic series of races that saw a three way title fight go right down to the 25 lap final.

Queenslander Jason Faint has taken a memorable victory in the second round of the SP Tools Australian Kart Championship, presented by Castrol EDGE, in Newcastle NSW. Faint led home last round winner Troy Loeskow and perennial front runner, Christopher Hays in Sunday afternoon’s KZ2 Championship final.
