Heats have been completed at the International Circuit La Conca. Several protagonists came to the fore ahead of the final stages on Sunday, January 25th with Live Streaming.
Everything is set for the final rush of the first round of the WSK Super Master Series at the La Conca International Circuit. This opening event of the 2026 international season by WSK Promotion is highlighted by a massive turnout of 300 drivers from 59 nations, competing with the major manufacturers and most highly qualified international teams.
The spectacle at La Conca has lived up to expectations, with a lot of protagonists vying for the lead in the MINI and OK-NJ categories—which feature an ever-growing field of very young talents—alongside the international OKJ category and the premier OK and KZ2 classes, the pinnacle of high-performance karting.
KZ2 – Orlov keeps the lead.
The opening of Saturday’s KZ2 heats saw an unexpected change in weather as light rain arrived, creating a bit of chaos during the day's second race. Victory went to Finland’s Kimi Tani (LA Motorsport – Parolin/TM Kart/Vega), followed by Germany’s Eric Wess (Wess – Birelart/TM Kart) and Italy’s Alex Maragliano (CL Racing – Birelart/TM Kart), while Friday's heat winner, Max Orlov (CPB Sport – Sodikart/TM Kart), finished ninth. The weather soon improved, and in the third and final heat, pole-sitter Dion Van Werven (CPB Sport – Sodikart/TM Kart) claimed the win. His Dutch teammate, Ayden Jthien, finished behind Van Werven and was followed by a third CPB Sport/Sodikart driver, Max Orlov, whose result confirms his position at the top of the standings.
MINI U10 – Miras Y Munoz leads Hejnar and Burgess.
Poland’s Hugo Hejnar (Novalux – Lenzokart/LKE/Vega) took victory in the first of Saturday’s two MINI U10 heats, following Friday’s win by Canada's Jayden Francisco. The third heat ended in a photo finish, with BabyRace’s French driver Sasha Miras Y Munoz winning just ahead of the American Zayne Burgess (Parolin Motorsport – Parolin/TM Kart). In the provisional standings, Miras Y Munoz leads the way, followed by Hejnar and Burgess. Meanwhile, pole-sitter Jake Jordan Micallef (BabyRace – Parolin/Iame) has lost some ground.
MINI GR.3 – Frigerio is in the lead, but six drivers won the six heats.
Featuring 51 young drivers, MINI Gr.3 saw six different winners across its six heats, making the final outcome more uncertain than ever. Italy's Filippo Frigerio (BabyRace – Parolin/Iame) leads the provisional standings ahead of teammate Nahyl El Gahoudi from France, who won the final heat.
Also among the top performers is the American Will Godschalk (Kidix – KR/Iame), winner of Friday's second heat. The other heat winners were Malta's Zane Pace (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart/Vortex), his Brazilian teammate Alvaro Medeiros, and Austria's Ghazi Almekdad (Borsch Racing – KR/Iame).
OK-NJ – Perico completes a winning streak.
Niccolò Perico (KR Motorsport – KR/Iame/Vega) has put together a perfect winning streak, taking three victories in his three heats. Making his debut in OK-NJ, the Italian driver is positioning himself as a major protagonist in this category, following his dominance in the MINI class up until last year.
Also standing out are Finland’s Leo Laitinen (Parolin Finland – Parolin/TM Kart), currently second in the provisional standings, and other heat winners including Sweden’s Elton Hedfors (Modena Kart – Parolin/TM Kart), pole-sitter Mattis Brageot from France (AKM Motorsport – Parolin/TM Kart), and fellow Frenchman Augustin Feligioni (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart/Vortex), who moved up after a penalty was issued to Italy’s Edoardo Colucci.
OK – Sala leads the most crowded category.
With two wins and two second-place finishes, Italy's Filippo Sala (CL Racing Team – Birelart/Iame/LeCont) has taken the lead in the provisional standings among the 85 participants in this highly competitive category. Australia's James Anagnostiadis (KR Motorsport – KR/Iame) also performed strongly, securing two victories. Other top contenders include the Scotsman Zac
Drummond (Fusion Motorsport – KR/Iame), who took a win after his pole position in qualifying, and the Czech driver Jindrich Pesl (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart/Vortex), who followed up the strong form shown in testing with one win and three second-place finishes. Additional heat victories went to Lev Krutogolov (Ukraine), Dean Hoogendoorn (Netherlands), Qarrar Firhand (Indonesia), and Sebastian Minns (Belgium).
OKJ – Pizzonia is in the lead.
Brazil's Antonio Pizzonia (Ward Racing - Parolin/TM Kart/Vega), who already stood out in the recent official tests, continued his brilliant form in the heats. He leads the 77 participants in the OKJ category for this first round, thanks to two wins and two second-place finishes across his four heats.
Other notable performers include Belgium's Priam Bruno (VictoryLane – KR/Iame) and Britain's Will Green (KR Motorsport – KR/Iame), both with two wins each. Single heat victories were secured by Many Nuvolini (France), Antoine Sylva Venant (Belgium), Felipe Sanches (Brazil), and Alessandro Truchot (USA).
