An event of immense sporting value has officially launched the international karting season at the La Conca International Circuit in Muro Leccese, hosting the first round of the WSK Super Master Series. It was an extraordinary opening event with massive global participation, featuring 300 drivers representing 59 nations. The presence of all the major manufacturers and most prestigious international teams further confirms the continued success of WSK Promotion as it enters its 21st year of activity.

Following the qualifying phase, the Prefinals and the highly anticipated Finals showcased the top contenders on the grid across the MINI, OK-NJ, OKJ, OK, and KZ2 categories. While the final phase had to contend with a forecast of poor weather, only light winds ultimately materialized, allowing the event to conclude smoothly without the dreaded arrival of rain.

El Gahoudi’s teammate, Filippo Frigerio—who had been the top performer after the heats—secured second place. Rounding out the podium in third was Malta’s Zane Pace (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart/Vortex), following an impressive recovery of 10 positions.
