After racking up victories at the opening round of the WSK Final Cup in Franciacorta, Kart Republic continued its winning streak over the next two weeks. First at the major international IAME brand cup event, the IWF in Valencia, with two triple wins in the main categories: X30 Senior and X30 Junior. Then, in Cremona for the second of three rounds of the WSK Final Cup, Zak Drummond won in OK and Wynn Godschalk in Mini U10. As ever, the high-performing KR chassis remain in contention for titles in six of the seven categories.
IWF25 - Triumph in X30 Junior and triple win in X30 Senior
Over the years, more and more drivers and teams have come to realise the effectiveness of the KR chassis in the IAME categories, and the 2025 world event in Spain provided irrefutable proof of this. The X30 Junior category Final ended with a total of nine chassis in the top ten, including the top three places: Max Endacott (BMR), Juste Mulder (VictoryLane) and Alex Martinez Escrihuela (Axion Racing). The same performance was seen in X30 Senior with the victory of Aaron Garcia Lopez (MDC Racing) ahead of Zac Drummond (Fusion Motorsport) and Danny Carenini (Zanchi Motorsport). There were more than 100 drivers in these two categories.
In X30 Mini (88 drivers), Wynn Godschalk (MDC Racing), Achilleas Peruzzi (Fusion Motorsport) and Riley Murro (DK Academy) led the Final, with the latter ultimately finishing 2nd. In X30 Master, Pedro Ivars Agostinelli (Axion Racing) crossed the finish line of the IAME Warriors Final as the winner, before dropping back a place due to a penalty.
Cremona - Another great haul of podiums
There was no lack of performance from KR Motorsport and its satellite teams at the WSK Final Cup in Cremona. In OK, the Qualifying Heats and Super Heats showed that many drivers were capable of winning. As the Final progressed, Zak Drummond (Fusion Motorsport) managed to make the difference and win ahead of another KR-IAME, driven by Oliver Kinnmark (Koski Motorsport). Devin Walz (KR Motorsport) and Mariano Lopez (Fusion Motorsport) also performed well.
In OK-Junior, a collision at the start of the Final at the front of the grid caused Noah Baglin and Dean Hoogendoorn, two drivers from the Prema Racing team, to lose many places. It was a shame, as Baglin set the fastest lap of the race and could have repeated his success at Franciacorta. His team-mate Will Green finished just off the podium in 4th place ahead of Valerio Viapana (Team Driver Racing Kart).
There were many satisfying results in the other categories: victory for Wynn Godschalk (Kidix Driver Performance) in Mini U10, 2nd place for Nicolas Marchesi (Team Driver Racing Kart) in OK-N and 2nd place for Niccolo Perico (Team Driver Racing Kart) in Mini 60 Gr.3. Perico dominated the race but ended up off the track after attempting to overtake another driver. He then impressed with a comeback from 14th to 2nd place, setting the fastest lap of the race. In OK-N Junior, Lucas Palacio (KR Motorsport) started the Final in the lead, led several laps and finished 3rd before dropping back due to a penalty. And in KZ2, James Anagnostiadis (Prema Racing) marked his KZ2 debut with a fastest lap and several top performances.
In the overall WSK Final Cup standings, several drivers will head into the final round in Lonato (21st-23rd November 2025) with excellent chances of clinching the title: Drummond in OK, Baglin in OK-Junior, Marchesi in OK-N, Palacio in OK-N Junior, Perico in Mini 60 Gr.3 and Godschalk in Mini U10.
