Born in León, Mexico, Emiliano Hernandez Marun did not take the conventional route straight to the paddock: his earliest sporting battles were fought with a tennis racket in hand. At age eight, a first lap behind the wheel at the local Kartódromo de León changed everything.

The KR Motorsport team split into two groups on the last weekend of August, as the opening round of the WSK Final Cup at Franciacorta coincided with the Grand Prix Karting KZ event at Le Mans.

The winners of the Finals are: Burns (OKN), Moehring (OKNJ), Miras (MINI U10), El Gahoudi (MINI Gr3), Perico (OKJ), and Krutogolov (OK).

The first round of the WSK Final Cup at the Franciacorta Karting Track features the first thrilling challenges among the 300 drivers in this major international karting event organized by WSK Promotion. The championship, which has represented the season finale since 2011 following the WSK Super Master Series and WSK Euro Series, will conclude with two subsequent rounds in Lonato and Viterbo.

The Franciacorta Karting Track is gearing up to host the first round of the WSK Final Cup with 320 entered drivers.

Over 300 drivers are expected at the weekend of August 30th at the Franciacorta Karting Track for the first of the three rounds of the WSK Final Cup.

The three rounds of the WSK Final Cup will have some changes. KZ2 will take place in two rounds, to be held in Lonato and Viterbo. The round in Lonato has been moved to November 18-22. Entries accepted from July 31st, 2026.

The second day of testing at the La Conca International Circuit in Muro Leccese saw Mercedes F1 driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli take to the track. He was among the 323 participants registered for the Official Collective Tests organized by WSK Promotion ahead of the start of the racing season.

The opening of the 2026 WSK Promotion season at La Conca with the Official Collective Tests on January 16-18 will be followed by the first round of the WSK Super Master Series from January 21 to 25.

On the occasion of the third and final round of the championship held in Lonato del Garda, the Tony Kart Racing 401 T wins the title in the OK category with Jindrich Pesl, who finished second in the Sunday afternoon's final.
 

The 2025 WSK Final Cup ended with a significant haul of trophies for KR chassis. At the conclusion of the series taking place in Franciacorta, Cremona and Lonato, the podium ceremony saw a total of 13 podiums at South Garda Karting: five obtained in the Finals and eight in the overall classification, including four Champion titles and two Vice-Champion titles. The Kart Republic factory congratulates the drivers, teams and engine builders for these brilliant successes.

Due to a bug in the operating system of the final classifications, Bosco Arias gains the 6 points he did not receive in Franciacorta and is the new OKJ Champion.      

In 2025, the Modena Kart Racing Team proved competitive in all the championships in which it competed, including the recent WSK Final Cup. In each of the three events, at least one of the team's drivers managed to finish on the podium in the OK-N Junior category. After Nojus Stasionis in Franciacorta and Ruzgar Evci in Cremona, Federico Mirabella put in a high-quality performance in Lonato at the wheel of his Parolin/TM Kart. Winner of the Super Heat, he managed to reach the third step of the podium. In the overall standings, Modena Kart Racing Team placed three drivers in the top eight, including Stasionis in a magnificent 3rd position.

The final round of the 2025 WSK Final Cup took place in Lonato in bitterly cold conditions, with temperatures hovering below six degrees and Friday's Qualifying sessions disrupted by a wet track. Despite these hostile conditions, Birelart once again delivered in all categories. Cristian Bertuca ended his season on a high note with another victory in KZ2, securing the overall title.

The grand finale of the 20th season of WSK Promotion has just begun at Lonato's South Garda Karting with the third and final round of the WSK Final Cup. The latest entry list shows 405 drivers, already on track for free practice across seven categories: KZ2, OK, OKJ, OK-N, OK-N Junior, MINI Gr.3, and MINI Gr.3 U10.

On Sunday, November 23rd, the Lonato circuit will host the last of the three WSK Final events, which will close the long 2026 International karting season. This important meeting will welcome as many as 400 drivers divided into seven categories: MINI U10, MINI Gr3, OKJ, OK, OKNJ, OKN and KZ2.

In the three WSK Final Cup events, in addition to the wonderful trophies awarded to the top three finishers in each round, the winners of each event are also awarded with precious Vulcain watches from the prestigious Swiss watchmaking company, thanks to the recent partnership established with WSK Promotion.
