At the Kristianstad circuit in Sweden, the venue for the fourth and final round of the FIA Karting European Championship, their Tony Kart Racer 401 T dominated the ‘Junior’ final and narrowly missed out on a podium finish in the ‘Senior’ class.

Parolin Motorsport completed the FIA Karting European Championship season at Kristianstad with a commanding OK victory for William Calleja and a podium for Dean Hoogendoorn. Calleja won every race he contested before dominating the Final, while Hoogendoorn finished 3rd to secure the same position in the Championship. Gioele Girardello ended the OK-Junior campaign 4th in the standings after showing front-running pace, and Troy Ferguson produced an exceptional 21-place recovery in the Final.

The KR-IAME teams travelled to Sweden to contest the two FIA Karting European Championship titles in the OK and OK-Junior classes. Mission accomplished with a one-two finish in OK thanks to Noah Baglin and Zac Drummond, as well as a clean sweep of the top three places in OK-Junior with Will Green, Daniel Miron Lorente and Many Nuvolini. Well done to the KR Motorsport and Fusion Motorsport teams for these outstanding performances on the European stage.

Parolin Motorsport completed the fourth round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series at Kristianstad with front-running speed in both OK and OK-Junior, as William Calleja finished 4th in OK and Gioele Girardello led the factory team in OK-Junior with 9th. Dean Hoogendoorn produced one of the strongest recovery drives of the weekend in OK before penalties dropped him to 14th, while Troy Ferguson also moved forward in the OK-Junior Final.

Performing increasingly well throughout the fourth round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series, the KR-IAME teams ultimately made a clear mark in both categories during the Kristianstad finals. The 2025 FIA Karting World Championship for the OK and OK-Junior categories took place from 11th to 14th September at the historic Åsum Ring in Kristianstad, Sweden. As always at this level, the sporting intensity was at its peak, with a world title awarded on a single event, in an atmosphere combining suspense and twists and turns. The unpredictable weather on the south-east coast of Sweden did nothing to make things easier for the 217 drivers taking part (109 in OK-Junior, 108 in OK), adding an element of uncertainty to the competition.
