The fifth round of the Italian F.4 Championship at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola ended under the banner of Prema Racing, as Oleksandr Bondarev, a driver from the Williams Driver Academy, secured his first overall victory. After losing the lead at the start to teammate Kean Nakamura-Berta, the Ukrainian kept his focus and waited for the right moment to reclaim the top spot. The opportunity came with a spectacular move, carefully prepared over several laps, that earned him his first win of the season.

An exciting Race 1 marked the sixth round of the 2025 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine at Imola this weekend. On the track that just three months ago hosted the Formula 1 Made in Italy and Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, Enzo Deligny claimed his second win of the season at the wheel of a R-ace GP car. The victory allowed the Frenchman to reclaim third place in the overall standings, now trailing only current championship leader Freddie Slater (Prema Racing) and Matteo De Palo (Trident Motorsport).

The first of the three races of the fifth round of the Italian F.4 Championship took place today at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola. Gabriel Gomez, Brazilian talent racing with US Racing, claimed another victory, starting from pole and firmly defending the lead through multiple restarts. It marks his second win of the season, which currently puts him second in the overall standings.

The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine was back in action at Imola, once again enjoying optimal weather conditions for the morning session of the Collective Tests, where Enzo Deligny (R-Ace GP) set the fastest lap, stopping the clock at 1:39.044.

The 2025 Formula 4 season is ready to launch with the publication of the Italian F.4 Championship and Euro 4 Championship provisional calendars. As for the Italian Championship, the 7 seasonal rounds have been confirmed.

The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine is set to return to action this weekend at Imola, following the summer break, for the seventh round of the season. The circuit, nestled along the banks of the Santerno River and renowned as a prestigious venue for one of the rounds of the Formula 1 calendar, is ready to host another thrilling weekend. This event will further shape the intense championship battle organized by ACI Sport and Alpine Racing.

The second day of the ACI Racing Weekend in Imola opened with Race 2 of the Italian F.4 Championship, the first race on track in the morning. Hiyu Yamakoshi, the Japanese driver for Van Amersfoort Racing, started from pole position and maintained control until the checkered flag. The Japanese driver was unstoppable, showcasing an exhilarating pace. No issues arose even during the race restart on the last lap after a stop caused by a collision between Jan Koller (BVM Racing) and Oleksandr Savinkov (AKM Motorsport) at Tamburello.

Williams Academy driver Franco Colapinto claimed his maiden win in F2, the second tier of the single-seater pyramid. Colapinto returned to Imola for the first time after 2022 where he scored his maiden win in FIA Formula 3. The Formula 2 rookie had a solid start to the weekend, finishing in the top 10 in the practice session and set the ninth fastest time in Qualifying that put him in second on the grid for the Sprint race.

The second year of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine will remain impressed in the memory of its fans not only for the excitement and show that was offered on track, but also for the success achieved by the series in terms of numbers.

The race of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine has been full of twists and turns in Imola, during the second of the ten double appointments scheduled in the 2022 calendar.

Today, Italian racing team, Iron Lynx, concluded its opening weekend of Italian Formula 4 action at the famous Imola circuit with Iron Dame, Maya Weug, and Ivan Domingues gaining valuable knowledge for the season ahead. 

Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine heads to Imola next weekend (6-8 May) for the second instalment of what is already shaping up to be a year to remember.
