Spanish racer Christian Costoya will compete under the PREMA Racing banner in 2026. The 15-year-old from Galicia is set for his single-seater debut after achieving remarkable success in karting.

After the announcement of the multi-year partnership between Kalì Kart and the new title sponsor Lenovo, the management of the historic CRG brand is working to define the 2026 drivers’ line-up of the team, which will be dedicated to the under-16 junior categories: Mini, OKNJ, OKJ, and OK. The racing program will include participation in all FIA Karting events (European Championship and World Championship for OK and OKJ classes), as well as a structure that will be active in Italy for the Mini U10 / Gr3 and OKN Junior categories.

From 5th to 8th June, FIA Karting visited the Viterbo circuit, which had never before been used for the Championships. The sun, the heat and the grip were there, as was the performance of the KR-IAME packages, so the results followed. In the OK-Junior class, the VictoryLane team celebrated the victory of Frenchman Samuel Hugon, who was joined on the podium by Dean Hoogendoorn.

Christian Costoya’s European Championship lead was strengthened this weekend at the third round out of four at Viterbo in Italy, where the Spanish star qualified on pole and won all his races, with team-mate Beau Lowette matching his pace. Junior driver Bruno Blanco is also rapidly gaining in strength and took his first FIA Karting top ten.
 

Official Pantano Racing Team driver since the end of 2023, Andy Ratel kicked off 2025 with a brilliant performance at the IAME Winter Cup in Valencia. In Spain, the young boy considered to be one of the best French kart drivers of his generation fought his way to the front for three days. A few race incidents slowed his performance, but Andy never gave up, and his efforts were rewarded by a brilliant comeback in the X30 Senior class final, with a 3rd place finish.

A long and positive racing season for the CRG Racing Team came to an end with the 2nd Round of the WSK Final Cup on the Cremona track. This last international event of the year confirmed the great competitiveness achieved in the OK Junior category, where work is underway towards 2025 and where Sebastian Minns and Asher Ochstein have had a weekend as great protagonists since the eliminatory Heats.

Parolin Motorsport and its satellite teams won at the second round of the European Championship at Val Vibrata where Lorenzo Travisanutto came 2nd in the KZ Final to clinch the title in a thrilling finale, while Maksim Orlov, Team Modena Kart, dominated the KZ2 category from start to finish. Riccardo Nalon, Erre Esse Motorsport, won the Final and the KZ2 Masters title.

On the occasion of the 4th round of the FIA Karting European Championship OK-OKJ, at Kristianstad, their Tony Kart Racer 401 RR runs in the top positions of the Junior category over the weekend and closes the final with the fourth place of the rookie Ilie Tristan Crisan.

The 2024 WSK Euro Series got underway on the Franciacorta track with the hottest weekend of the season so far, with temperatures regularly in excess of 30°. The Birel ART Racing Team drivers achieved very positive results in OK. Ean Eyckmans returned to the Final top five, while Ludovico Busso finished 9th.

The KZ2 class ended up with almost 90 drivers in the overall standings of the WSK Open Series. Cristian Bertuca, who finished 2nd in the first round at Franciacorta, gave Birel ART Racing victory and the title in the second round at La Conca. Bertuca, who has already won the WSK Super Master Series, confirms his competitiveness and that of Birel ART / TM Kart, while we still have to wait a month and a half for the start of the European KZ / KZ2 Championship.

The Kalì Kart Racing Team is pleased to welcome Sam Woolley who will join the team for the OK Junior category. The English driver was born in Urmstom, Manchester in September 2010 and began racing go-karts at the age of 8 in the Mini categories, achieving many notable results at national level. His first international experiences were made in the X30 Junior category in which, at the beginning of this season, he won the Hivern Cup Spain and obtained P2 in the Winter Cup of Valencia.

Parolin Motorsport produced some very convincing performances at the second round of the European Championship last weekend at Sarno. In KZ, Francesco Celenta confirmed the very positive progress made after Zuera, finishing in the top three in the qualifying heats and confirming his position in Super Heat.

Parolin Motorsport confirmed its ambitions in Denmark at the third round of the European Championship. Rene Lammers took a magnificent victory in OK and moved to the top of the provisional standings. Miguel Costa followed in 7th place, while Anatoly Khavalkin made a very good start to the meeting. Poleman in OK-Junior, Christian Costoya put in a string of good results before finishing in 4th position. Zac Drummond made up five places to finish 6th in the Final, Jack Ilife climbed from 28th in Qualifying to 9th in the Final ahead of Vivek Kanthan in 15th and Sebastian Lehtimaki in 16th.

Parolin Motorsport's energy since the beginning of the season was rewarded with a great podium finish for Rene Lammers in the opening race of the FIA Karting European Championship - OK in Valencia and his 2nd position in the provisional standings. Anatoly Khavalkin’s return to 9th place is also good news. In the Junior class, Zac Drummond put in a remarkable performance, regularly finishing in the top five in the heats, 8th in the Final and 6th in the championship.

Exciting Dutch talent Dilano van ’t Hoff will remain with MP Motorsport for a second assault on the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA). The 2021 Spanish Formula 4 champion aims to bounce back from a tough rookie season cruelly interrupted by injury. The Dutchman is the first driver to be announced for MP’s three-car FRECA line-up.

Officially presented at the end of 2017, the KR brand has had a meteoric rise, winning three FIA Karting World Championships and no less than seven European Championship titles in just five seasons! The Italian factory's chassis and all the teams representing the Kart Republic colours are back for another season, which promises to be even more successful. The first races in 2023 have already demonstrated this...

For multiple karting champion Bart Ploeg it was almost routine, picking up a trophy at the annual NK IAME champions' ceremony, but it did not make him any less proud. He had become Dutch champion in the X30 Seniors class. The just seventeen year old karter from Heijningen lives to win. He will hopefully do that again next season. Launched in 2020 by promoter RGMMC, the Champions of the Future series has become a must for the best international drivers and teams. Some of the biggest names in the world have already won the competition, some of them now in single-seaters. In 2023, the Champions of the Future Euro Series will be held over five meetings optimally spread between March and September. Based on the FIA Karting regulations, the next season promises to be rich in quality and quantity in the OK and OK-Junior categories, with its calendar aligned with that of the European and World Championships!

It would be true to say that Jimmy Helias didn’t mess up his debut in OK, the top-tier kart category without a gearbox. Six years after becoming the youngest-ever French champion in the history of motor sport, the driver from Evreux – 14 years old on 1st September – finished on the third step of the podium on his first attempt, in the WSK Final Cup at Sarno: a hugely-promising result in view of the 2023 season!

Sodi Racing Team's brilliant season continues! In the OK-Junior World Championship, several drivers equipped with the very competitive Sodi-TM Racing package fought at the front. In the Final, the honours went to the young Hungarian Adam Hideg, who crossed the finish line in 2nd place. British driver Nathan Tye came close to placing a second Sodi chassis on the podium!
