Costoya to make full-time F4 debut with PREMA Racing

Spanish racer Christian Costoya will compete under the PREMA Racing banner in 2026. The 15-year-old from Galicia is set for his single-seater debut after achieving remarkable success in karting.

Costoya was an interesting prospect since his earliest days in competition. In 2023, he was vice-champion in the Karting World Championship in OKJ, and secured second place in the 2024 European Championship. Moving to OK, he captured the 2025 European Championship with a strong run and also secured the WSK Euro Series title. His roll of honour in terms of wins and podiums has been no short of outstanding.

Costoya, who is managed by All Road Management, was included in the McLaren Driver Development Programme roster in late 2025. He will run full-time in the Italian Formula 4 and E4 championships. He is currently dovetailing the programme running in the UAE4 Series in the United Arab Emirates.

Stephen Mitas - Team Principal & CEO

"Christian showed great potential in karting and we are delighted to welcome him to our team for a very challenging and important step in his career. We will give him our best support as he approaches the transition to single-seater and gets ready for the year ahead."

Christian Costoya

"Very happy to join PREMA for the 2026 F4 season. This marks a new chapter for me in a new category. I’m fully committed to giving my best, continuing to progress and improve as a driver, and making the most of this opportunity."
