Registration for the new season of the German Kart Championship (DKM) is now open. Once again in the upcoming season, Germany’s premier national karting series will provide optimal conditions for young talents and ambitious drivers, featuring five championship classes. Online registration for the DKM title classes is now available via adac.de/motorsport.

Munich. The Road to DTM youth development program will be realigned within the German Kart Championship (DKM) for the 2026 season. Going forward, the program will be fully anchored in the OK-N category. As a result, the champion of this class will receive the entry fee for the BMW M2 Cup or ADAC GT4 Germany in the following season, providing a clear opportunity to take the next step toward professional motorsport.

The German Kart Championship (DKM) will include five race weekends in the upcoming year, combining traditional tracks in Germany with a special highlight abroad. For the first time ever, Germany’s premier kart racing series will make a stop in Cheb, Czech Republic. The season opener will take place from May 1 to 3 in Saxony: the new season kicks off at Arena E in Mülsen – as tradition dictates, the DKM will conclude at ProKart Raceland in Wackersdorf. The decisive races of the 2026 season will be held there from September 25 to 27. A new class structure will also be introduced: alongside the Mini and Shifter Kart (KZ2) categories, the OK-N Junior and OK-N classes will be added for the first time.

The German Kart Championship will use Aspen+ fuel in the coming season. Specialised fuel for small engines. Fuel has already been introduced successfully in karting in the USA and Sweden.

The German Kart Championship will start with a premiere in 2025. For the first time, the championship will be held in Mariembourg, Belgium. The race calendar comprises a total of five race weekends and will be held at the biggest circuits in Germany. In addition to the four DKM championships, the IAME Series Germany will once again be part of the supporting programme. The ‘Road to DTM’ support programme will be continued and offers the chance of promotion to the ADAC GT4 Germany via the DKM.

The ADAC Karting Weekend is under starter’s orders: the ADAC’s new event format for the karting scene will make its first appearance from 17th to 18th August. The ADAC Karting Weekend is an event format, which will see individual events held in addition to existing platforms in the future. The premiere takes place at the Schweppermannring in Ampfing.

As the future organizer of the Deutsche Kart Meisterschaft (DKM), the ADAC e.V. has presented the calendar for the 2024 season. Next year, the DKM calendar will grow to six events, which will be held from the season opener in April to the finale at the end of September.

The German Kart Championship will have a new look from the 2024 season onwards. For the coming season, ADAC e.V. will take over the organisation of the International German Kart Championship. The series has been an integral part of German karting since 1962, and the highest accolade in German karting will continue to be held under the umbrella of the ADAC in the future.

The German Kart Championship traveled to Ampfing on the Schweppermannring for its half-time event. An international field of participants dueled on the race track in beaming sunshine in Southern Germany. In the end, there were five different winners.

The four predicates DKM, DJKM, DSKM and DSKC are arrived in Ampfing. The 1,036-meter-long track is the shortest on the race calendar, but still offers a lot of fun for the drivers. Especially a tight infield and a high-speed chicane often make the difference at the Schweppermannring. For the participants, it is about adding a first exclamation point with the half-time title. The field of the DKM is balanced. It is also really tight with the juniors.
