The 2026 IAME Euro Series officially began today at the Circuito Internacional de Zuera near Zaragoza in Spain’s Aragón region. Under sunny skies, drivers completed their final free practice sessions before heading into timed qualifying on the fast 1699-metre circuit, known for its long straight lines and strong slipstream effect. The first competitive session of the season immediately delivered tight margins across all categories.
Mini: Davidson and Sami Lead the Way
The Mini drivers opened the qualifying action with Alfie Davidson from Fusion Motorsport and Ilyas Sami from DK Academy setting the fastest laps in their respective groups to lead the overall classification. Mayson Hibbert from Fusion Motorsport secured third as Chester Forkes from DK Academy and Nicolás López from Club Kalikart completed the top five ahead of the qualifying heats.
Junior: House Sets the Benchmark
In X30 Junior, George House from Xcel Motorsport set the fastest overall lap of the session. Charles Ural from PB Kart followed in second, while Freddie Wood from Fusion Motorsport secured third. Sukhmani Khera from Fusion Motorsport and Aurelio Longhitano from Spirit-Karting.ch completed the top five.

Senior: Allemann Leads Qualifying
Dan Allemann from Spirit-Karting.ch set the fastest lap in X30 Senior to lead the classification ahead of Rubén Moya from PB Kart and Giulian Sorvillo from MCK Racing. Danny Carenini from Zanchi Motorsport and Emmanouil Lioudakis from Zanchi Motorsport completed the top five.
The first qualifying heats also began on Thursday afternoon, with three X30 Senior races completed. Victories went to Aaron Garcia (MDC Racing), Javier Broasca (MDC Racing) and Mateo Rivals (Dream Racing).
