Strong momentum builds ahead of the RMCET season opener

After the positive response of the Rotax MAX Challenge Winter Cup in Campillos earlier in January, attention now turns to the opening round of the 2026 Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy, where a highly competitive field of around 200 drivers is expected to line up for the first major RMC Euro Trophy event of the season.

The championship will once again kick off in Northern Italy, at the Cremona Circuit, a venue that has already written an important chapter in recent history of the series. The circuit made its debut last season, hosting its first-ever RMCET event, which also served as the opening round of the Rotax MAX Challenge Winter Cup.

That landmark event delivered high-level racing and crowned a group of standout winners across all categories:

Mini MAX: Oliver Spencer (KR Sport)

Junior MAX: Kristian Sejersen (RS Competition)

Senior MAX: Macauley Bishop (Dan Holland Racing)

DD2: Jakub Bezel (Kraft Motorsport)

DD2 Masters: Nicolas Picot (Privateer)

Building on that successful first appearance, Cremona is now set to host the official season opener of the 2026 Euro Trophy, scheduled to take place from March 11 to March 15, 2026. Further updates will follow as the countdown continues toward the first green flag of the 2026 Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy.
