The 2026 Champions of the Future season continues this week as the championship arrives at Arena E in Mülsen, Germany, for the third round of the campaign, taking place between 3rd and 6th June.
At 1,315 metres in length and featuring 15 corners, Arena E stands as one of Germany's longest and most modern karting circuits. The venue joins the Champions of the Future calendar for the first time, presenting a fresh challenge for both drivers and teams as the battle for series honours intensifies.
With the season rapidly approaching its halfway point, every session, every overtake, and every point on offer could prove crucial in shaping the title fight.

In OK Junior, Julian Frasnelli and Will Green remain the only final winners so far this season, with both drivers targeting a second victory as they look to strengthen their campaigns. However, it is Priam Bruno who arrives in Germany leading the standings. Racing for VictoryLane Karting, Bruno has established himself as one of the category's most consistent performers and will be aiming to extend his advantage at the top of the table.
Frasnelli and Green remain firmly in contention behind the points leader, while Oskari Walle and Leo Gorski complete a highly competitive top five heading into the weekend.
The fight in OK is proving just as intense. Dean Hoogendoorn continues to lead the points for the Williams Racing Driver Academy, but the Dutchman faces increasing pressure from Mercedes Junior James Anagnostiadis and Lev Krutoholov, who currently occupy second and third in the standings, respectively.
Race victories in the senior category have so far been shared by 2025 Junior graduates Hoogendoorn and Noah Baglin. While Hoogendoorn has converted that early success into a standings lead, Baglin will be looking to build momentum after climbing to fifth in the standings ahead of Round 3.
One of the biggest talking points heading into the weekend is the unknown factor presented by Arena E itself. With little prior experience of the circuit across either category, drivers and teams will begin the event on a relatively level playing field.
As a result, the opening practice sessions and early heats are expected to provide the first real indication of where overtaking opportunities may emerge and which drivers can adapt most quickly to the new surroundings. Those able to unlock the circuit's challenges early could gain a significant advantage as the week progresses.
The challenge extends beyond the drivers. Arena E's flowing layout and high-speed sectors will place a premium on setup, with teams searching for the optimum balance between grip, stability and straight-line performance. Particular attention is likely to be paid to the circuit's faster corners, including the final turn, where confidence and precision will be vital.

With a new circuit, valuable points on the line and title battles beginning to take shape, all the ingredients are in place for another pivotal weekend of Champions of the Future action.
The battle for title honours resumes in Mülsen from Thursday, with the main events set to take place on Saturday. Live-streamed action can be viewed on YouTube from Friday onwards.
If you can't be in Germany, you can still be part of it. Stay tuned.
