The International Karting circus will be in Italy again this coming weekend as OK and OK Junior are all set to run their 2nd round of the FIA European Championship in Sarno. After the not very lucky opening in Zuera, CRG’s Racing Team worked hard to improve its performance and all drivers are resolute to run a strong race.

All the pieces of the puzzle are being put back in place as for the International Karting calendar. In recent days, the FIA ​​has officially canceled the 1st round of the OK-OK Junior European Championship in Kristianstad and consequently the single-gear categories will have a 3-stage Championship: Zuera on August 2nd, Sarno on August 23rd and Wackersdorf on September 13th. The KZ classes, on the other hand, will compete in the European Championship on 2 events: the first in Adria on August 16th and the final in Genk on September 6th.

The 1st round of the WSK Master took place on the Adria circuit, a series on 4 rounds where the CRG Racing Team will compete to prepare for the international season. The goal was a shakedown of the 2020 chassis and especially of the new team in the Mini category, lining up 5 official drivers: Christian Costoya, Samuele Leopardi, Simone Bianco, Scott Lindblom and Nico Lahnalahti. Besides the 5 Mini drivers, two Junior drivers made their debut with the CRG colours as well, the Italian Francesco Marenghi (at his first race in Junior) and the Argentinian Francisco Soldavini.

In Lonato’s the crowded and competitive Winter Cup, Paolo De Conto’s second place stands out once again in KZ2.
