PREMA readies for Monza E4 finale, adds Nanji to its lineup

Coming from an extremely successful weekend in the 2025 Italian Formula 4 finale, PREMA Racing is now set for the final step of its 2024 F4 campaign on the old continent with the third round of the E4 Championship at Monza.

The team is entering the weekend with the lead in all class standings, although with only three rounds overall, the field is tight. While speed is key at Monza, strategy and racecraft hold a special role as well, with tricky braking and drafting often dictating the rhythm in qualifying.

Kean Nakamura-Berta is relying on a 10-point advantage over his closest competitor. The 2025 Italian F4 Champion is looking to make a hat-trick and has five podiums (including one win) out of six races so far. Sebastian Wheldon is currently P5 in points, but not out of the game, having one win and three podiums to his credit.

Oleksandr Bondarev is leading the Rookie Cup standings and has teammate Salim Hanna as his closest competitor. They achieved a triple class win each, and it will be Monza that will make the difference. Joining in the fight, Newman Chi has highlighted consistent improvement in Italian F4, and could well get into play for the honours too.

Andrea Dupe will be returning aboard the #5 car, and with the amount of progress he made in the second half of the season, he is set to try and make even more moves forward.

In the closing event, PREMA Racing will be fielding a seventh car for 17-year-old Lucas Nanji. Driving the #48 car, the Canadian will make his auto racing debut with the goal of gaining valuable learning and insight on one of the World's most unique and competitive race tracks.

Angelo Rosin - Team Founder

"Coming from such a success as we had in Misano, we feel we are in the right position to do a good job in the Monza E4 finale as well. We had three wins in Italian F4 at Monza, and we are fully confident in our drivers to deliver. On the other hand, we are delighted to welcome Lucas. I'm sure he will make some good steps, even if debuting in such a competitive championship is definitely not easy. It's all about climbing the learning curve and gaining confidence."
