The last race of the weekend was nothing short of spectacular, wrapping up the second round of the Italian F.4 Championship in style after a weekend packed with drama from the very start. After qualifying was disrupted by intermittent rain and the three qualifying races were won by Kean Nakamura-Berta (Race 1 and 2) and Sebastian Wheldon (Race 3), the final race delivered a twist: a clash between the top two contenders paved the way for Gabriel Gomez to take the win.

With 75 points scored, Nakamura-Berta takes the early lead in the drivers’ standings. The results from both sessions will set the grid for three of the four races scheduled over the weekend. The second event of the United States Pro Kart Series was held over the weekend (April 28-May 1) as OTK USA continued its success during the first half of the 2022 season. The Carolina Grand Prix was contested on the GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville, North Carolina with perfect racing weather greeting the over 300 entries in the seven categories offered. Of the 14 main events on the weekend, OTK drivers and teams grabbed nine victories with 25 standing on the podium steps in addition to 53 finishes inside the top-five.
