Monza‘s first race of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine delivered a series of twists and turns, both during the race and after the checkered flag. Crossing the finish line first was championship leader Andrea Kimi Antonelli of Prema Racing, who showcased his prowess with two impressive overtakes. Antonelli passed his pole-sitting teammate Rafael Camara at the Roggia chicane and later surged past Marcus Amand (ART Grand Prix) while he was leading the race, during the initial stages. However, Antonelli received a 10-second penalty for an early use of the push-to-pass system, dropping him out of the points zone.

Prema Racing‘s Rafael Camara delivered a remarkable performance this morning, storming to an electrifying pole position during the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine qualifying session at Monza. Camara posted the fastest lap time in the closing moments of the Group B session, achieving his third pole and matching his teammate, as well as the championship leader, Andrea Kimi Antonelli.

Saturday morning at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza kicked off with the Euro 4 Championship qualifying sessions. In two 15-minute sessions, 30 drivers from around the world competed to determine the starting grid for the weekend's three races. In the first qualifying session, rookie sensation Freddie Slater secured pole position.

After the thrilling weekend in Austria, featuring two races at the Red Bull Ring that crowned race winners the Brazilian from Prema Racing, Rafael Camara, and the Frenchman from G4 Racing, Alessandro Giusti, it’s time for the drivers of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine to hit the track once again.

MP Motorsport's Formula 2 and 3 teams travelled to Monza this weekend as support series of the Formula 1 circus. For the Formula 3 team this was the season finale, which could not have gone better for the team from the Netherlands.  The qualifying session on Friday was a tricky one, due to numerous red flags it was decided that the session would not be finished with 10 minutes to go. As a result, Jonny Edgar qualified fourth, which was his best result this season. Mari Boya and Franco Colapinto finished in 15th and 16th positions, but disqualifications promoted them to P11 and P12.

It's a double win for the British driver, as he awaits to start from pole position in the final race of the weekend. Penalties for Sztuka; Ugochukwu, and Badoer on the podium in race 2

Ugochukwu crosses the finish line first, but post-race decisions change the standings. Lindblad is declared the winner, followed by Badoer in second and Taponen in third.

More than 30 drivers from around the world are ready to compete on the track this weekend. The Italian F.4 Championship arrives at Monza, after the Belgian round, with British driver Arvid Lindblad from Prema Racing leading the driver's standings. 

The second year of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine will remain impressed in the memory of its fans not only for the excitement and show that was offered on track, but also for the success achieved by the series in terms of numbers.

The Argentinian ROFGO Junior scored his second FIA Formula 3 win in the season finale last weekend at the Temple of Speed.

Prema Racing’s Dino Beganovic claimed his first Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine victory in the opener race of the weekend at Monza.

After setting the third position in the morning session, Michael Belov secured the best time of the day at Monza.

Paul Aron and Prema Racing were quickest in the first collective test at Monza for the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. The Estonian rose to the top of the times in the final part of the session and stayed there until the checkered flag.

The 2022 season of Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine gets underway at Monza this weekend (23/24 April) with 37 drivers all gunning for glory and 12 different teams.

Prema Racing‘s Dino Beganovic claimed the fastest time of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine collective tests, with a lap time of 1m47.016s in the second day at Monza.

The 2022 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine season moved a step closer as the teams and drivers competing in this year’s series came together for the last collective test at Monza (5-6 April).

Franco Colapinto will make his FIA F3 championship debut with Van Amersfoort Racing this year. Colapinto, a Buenos Aires native, steps up from racing in both LMP2 and the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine in 2021.

Van Amersfoort Racing is excited to announce the joining of Romanian Filip Ugran. The 19-year-old will compete for the Dutch team in the upcoming Euroformula Open Championship, which starts early May at the Autódromo do Estoril.

Mexican Rafael Villagómez will return to the FIA F3 championship for a second campaign. He will do so with Van Amersfoort Racing, with whom he battled in the 2021 edition of the Euroformula Open championship. Rafael will compete alongside his recently announced teammate Reece Ushijima.

Graduating from both GB3 and the Asian F3 championship in 2021, Ushijima makes his debut in the FIA F3 championship this season with the black and orange outfit from the Netherlands.
