A total of 400 drivers expected in Lonato for the grand finale of the WSK Final Cup

The third and closing round of the WSK Final Cup will get underway next November 18-23 at the South Garda Karting circuit. The closing challenge of the year will award the titles in all categories.

The anticipation is growing for the final act of the WSK Final Cup at the South Garda Karting circuit in Lonato, scheduled from November 18th to 23rd, and the number of competitors is also increasing for this round which concludes the most spectacular trio of races at the end of the season. Around 400 drivers are expected across the usual categories: MINI, OK-NJ, OK-N, OKJ, OK, and KZ2.

Titles and the Vulcain watches are up for grabs.

The category titles are at stake following the first two rounds in Franciacorta and Cremona, as well as the valuable Vulcain watches from the Swiss watchmaker, reserved for the winner of each WSK Final Cup event. All classifications are still open, making the grand finale in Lonato truly exciting, thanks to the regulations which provide higher points for this last round. The points available for the first classified driver in each category are 153: 13 points for leading the heats, 60 points for the Prefinal winner, and 80 points for the Final winner.

The final stages in TV and Live Streaming.

The final phase on Sunday, November 23, will be broadcast live via TV Live Streaming on the WSK Promotion Facebook page, on the WSK websites, Motorsport.com, and YouTube.

MINI U10 – Godschalk is ready for the closing parade.

Wynn Godschalk (Kidix-KR/Iame/Vega) leads the MINI Under 10 standings with 241 points, holding a 105-point advantage over his closest rivals after his double victory in Franciacorta and Cremona. The American driver should have no trouble closing out the championship at the Lonato event, but history teaches that every championship is finished only after the chequered flag, not before. Chasing him are the Ukrainian Platon Kovtunenko (Borsch Racing-KR/Iame) with 136 points and fellow American Zayne Burgess (Parolin Motorsport-Parolin/TM Kart) with 111 points.

The winners of the first two rounds:

Gorun won the first round in Franciacorta, Ratajski won the second in Cremona, while Perico boasts full scores earned in the heats of the first two rounds and second place in Cremona. Marchesi regrets being taken out of the race while leading the Cremona Prefinal, which would have otherwise given him a larger advantage in the standings. A great confrontation is expected in Lonato.

However, the Scottish driver Zac Drummond (Fusion Motorsport-KR/Iame) clinched the victory in the Cremona Final with a great comeback, moving into second place in the championship with 146 points. The Swedish driver Oliver Kinnmark (Koski Motorsport-KR/Iame) follows in third position with 114 points.

The Italian driver secured two strong, flawless victories: a comeback victory from qualifying at Franciacorta, and a clear dominance at Cremona, achieving first position in the heats, followed by victories in both the Prefinal and the Final. Bertuca leads the standings with 230 points and an 88-point advantage over Daniel Vasile (CL Racing Team-Birelart/TM Kart), who was a great competitor with a third-place finish at Cremona.
